We keep things pretty light here! We’re always having fun, talking about the most random things and hanging. Having your appointment here really does feel like you’re hanging with your BFF.

Meet the team!

I am so grateful to have a team of people beside me that not only shares the same values but also talent.

We take pride in being a SAFE SPACE for all types of humans here.🏳️‍🌈 We are a judgement-free zone. There’s nothing you could tell us that we haven’t heard before and there’s no way you could walk-in with hair we don’t know how to handle - including matting. We’ve done it all!

Hairline Divine has been around since 2019 and is continuing to grow by adding services that just make sense to our service menu, however we will always be Nano Specialists to our core.

We take pride in making sure that the health of your scalp and natural hair is our top priority. By doing so we ensure that we are installing our hair extensions safely and comfortably.

Our goal is to be a recourse for our clients for them to get the hair of their dreams AND to be a positive part of the hair extension and hair salon community. We’re all in this together for our clients we are not in competition with one another. ✊🏼

If you guessed bad hair, you’re right!

I know that Amazon, Alibaba & AliExpress all have deals on hair extensions that seem to be too good to be true.. Well they are. This set was bought off of AliExpress. Even though when we installed it, it did feel great, after she went home and started to was it, it all went downhill. The extension strands were falling out of the metal tips (where we secure the extensions to the natural hair), they hair started to tangle very very badly and by the time she was able to come see me again, those metal tips that had been left in her hair when the extension fell from it, they started to tangle and create matting in her hair.

This is why it is important to recognize that the hair your salon or hair tech offers you has been tested rigorously to ensure that the hair we sell is at the HIGHEST quality that we can find.

MATTING. YIKES

How does this happen?
A number of things could cause this.

1. Not brushing
2. Going to bed/sleep with wet or damp hair
3. Drying hair by rubbing with a towel
4. Saltwater
5. Depressive episodes
6. Exessive sweating

It is extremely important for clients to read, understand and thoroughly follow the aftercare rules.

What should you do if you have a client that comes in with this?
The easiest way to work through this is to remove the extensions in the matting, liberally spray a thicker leave-in conditioner to the matted natural hair and start massaging it in while pulling the tangles apart with your fingers. You will find the mats starting to loosen and you will be able to brush it out. Take your time if you have the time, if you don’t have the time, you can remove the extensions and instruct the client to go home to remove the matting themselves or have them re-book for a timeslot that allocates the correct time you need to get those mats out and re-install the hair.

We were able to add 24” to this beauty all while maintaining heavy layers to give her hair BODY.

This type of layering is not for everyone, typically it’s for those that are more into punk-rock, rock and roll, and retro vibes. We always heavily suggest collecting aa few inspirational photos for transformations so that you and your hair tech are on the same page for your end result. 😍

We love a good mullet. Who’s a good candidate? Someone who is growing out a pixie cut, or someone who has been maintaining a s**g just but wants length.

These cuts are SO FUN, and each one is completely different from the other. Talk about originality 😉

We offer hands-on opportunities for those who are newly certified but want more experience with real clients while under the guidance of a mentor.

What does this look like?
You’d come in for a full day of clients at Hairline Divine, but this time, we will be shadowing YOU. Get ready to feel how the flow of appointments are throughout a normal day and get the hands-on experience you need to build your confidence all while under the guidance of Jenn.

What does it look like?

Nanos: They are installed in neat and tidy rows within your hair. There’s no pinching or pain, they have 360-degree movement and are very very lightweight!

ATTENTION REDHEADS 🚨👩🏻‍🦰

We’ve got SHADES. Reds are SO HARD to colour-match, but we do have options. That’s more than most hair extension salons can say.

As a fellow redhead, I really do feel the struggle, and trust me, we will be the first to have more ginger options as they become available on the market!

We loveeee blondes here.
The average blonde now is not how they were 10+ years ago, they are SO dimensional with multiple tones within one head. Most hair extensionists will see this as a bigger challenge, but not us.

We have SO many different shades and these shades are blended. Dimensional options for hair extensions are a MUST now. If your hair tech is only working with solid blonde options, sure they could probably make it work, but we strive to make it perfect.

Fun Fact About These Hair Extensions

They have a slight natural wave to them. Once you wash them, they really do form with your natural hair and give you some extra body with a slight wave. You can enhance this by braiding your hair when it’s damp and letting it loose once it has dried.
