I had so much fun making these and remembering how much I love working with watercolor and colored pencil together. That combo has always been the medium I feel most confident in, and I loved exploring color theory with these lil guys.

A few flower paintings I did for my dad, mom, aunt, and uncle.

For my dad and his siblings, I painted snapdragons, my late grandmas favorite flower (first and third images, didn’t get a scan of the third, but did my best to paint three sort-of identical paintings).

For my mom, gladiolas (second image), which I recently learned are one of her favorites.

A little gift for all of the wonderful people involved in “Guys & Dolls” at the Middletown Arts Center, where I had the pleasure of playing Sarah Brown. It was so much fun getting to make personalized fan art of all my beautiful cast mates 😊

One of my favorite projects I did this year!

I had the joy of performing as Cat in the Hat in “Seussical”back in March at the Middletown Arts Center. It was my first lead in a musical, and some of the most fun I have ever had onstage!

I made these lino-cut prints for everyone in the cast and crew, based on Dr. Seuss’s original artwork.

My first attempt in a new medium - acrylic gouache. A study of a plant I saw at the Booth Bay Botanical Gardens in Maine, one of my favorite places.

I still have the block, so levee know if anyone wants a lil Corduroy merch 😝 I could print him on clothes, totes, hats, whatever!

Next up: the disco ball I painted for - inspired by the work of artist 🪩

This was such a fun piece to create, and I love seeing the different spots Jordan has placed it :)
