It's so important when trying to make a lasting change in your life to find an exercise that you enjoy.
For me its weight lifting and calisthenics but for you it maybe hiking or swimming or riding a bike.
It doesn't matter what the exercise is it's just important that you enjoy it because when you enjoy it then it's easier to make it part of your life.
So many people focus on just losing weight so go to the gym and beast themselves for a couple of months which is good to lose the weight but they soon find that they cant keep up that pace and stop enjoying it and eventually stop even going.
I always say it but its important to focus on the habits and once you have the habits in place the results are inevitable and sustainable. πͺππ
When I first heard that practicing gratitude would help me to manifest more to be grateful for in my life as well as have a more fulfilling life I thought it was all mumbo jumbo.
When I was at one of my lowest points I came across the practice of gratitude and thought to myself what have I got to lose so started writing 5 things down that I was grateful for in the day.
Little did I know how powerful this practice would be and how its helped me on my healing journey and continues to help me especially in challenging times.
When I started writing down 5 things that I was greatful for I started to really look out for things throughout the day almost subconsciously and focus on them more and more.
An example would be when I get food from the supermarket like some fruit I think of the whole journey that fruit has been on, the person who picked it, the people who packed it and the delivery driver who delivered it just so i can eat it.
Gratitude is one of the most powerful habits you can take on to change your quality of life and make it more fulfilling. However it is important to write it down each day or else it's easy to forget about it.
If you are going through a hard time right now I invite you to write down, focus and really feel into 3 to 5 things that you where greatful for that day and notice how things start to shift.

When we train our awarness we realese ourselves from past traumas and free ourselves from suffering future projections
After learning and applying some life changing positive habits I managed to free myself from the constant mind chatter/anxieties and started appreciating life as its unfolding.
And now I get to help my clients do the same. We are a product of our habits and when we start to eliminate negative habits and cultivate positive habits life starts to transform in ways you could never imagine.
How would you like to be able to lose weight and easily keep it off without having to constantly be dieting all the time ?
How would you like to clear a lot of your anxieties and unlock the fulness of life so that you are not up in your head all the time and you can learn to enjoy and gain the most out of the present moment ?
How would you like to have more energy in everyday life without having to go from one Costa to another just so you can stay awake throughout the day ?
How would you like to be able to deal with disputes and arguments in a much more calm and responsive way rather than reacting and experiencing a lot of conflict ?
How would you like to become more of the observer to your emotions instead of being pulled around by them enjoying the highs but really suffering the lows ?
I think you get the point π€£ What I'm saying is its time to take control of our mental health as well as our physical because even if you are ok at the moment you never know what the future may hold for us.
My program is not about making you work really hard to turn things around it's all about slowly introducing one habit at a time to take on that in time is going to become easy and automatic for you to do but will also transform the quality of your life.
I'm only looking for people that are serious, ready to change and invest in their health and I guess if you've read this far then I'm talking to you so feel free to DM me for more info and I hope you have an amazing day ππ

When wanting to lose weight and look after you physical health it's so important to find an exercise that you love.
A lot of people just focus on cardio for weight loss which is good but if you have to force yourself to the gym to do hours of cardio just to lose weight then over time you may start to dread it and then slow down or not not bother going at all.
For a lasting transformation in your health you want to find an exercise that you can do about 4/5 times a week that you really enjoy and look forward to doing.
I love weight training but I have just recently started playing tennis as well which I really enjoy (no good at it though π€£) The point is these exercises help me lose weight and feel good and I look forward to doing them so don't have to motivate myself to get up in the morning to go and do it.
Comment down below with your favourite exercise of choice even if it's just a brisk walk around the block.
I hope you have a great day πͺππ
Do you agree? Comment YES π
Thanks mate! This is very inspiring. π
The Pandemic changed me!
I'm sure it gave a lot of you time to rethink all kinds of things in your life... relationships, your career and possibly yourself too.
I've changed, but I'm still me.
I've tried lots of new things.
Some I have adopted.
Some I'm never doing again.
I've been having lots of conversations with people recently about changing and it's nothing for us to be afraid of or even ashamed of... it's growth.
TRY NEW THINGS!
I journal.
I meditate.
I swim.
I practice mindfulness.
BUT....
I still work hard.
I still play golf.
I still love football.
I still like a drink.
I still eat bad food occasionally.
I'm still a bit of an arse... I'm just an arse who looks after himself better and feels so much better for it.
TRY NEW THINGS!
Remember, by looking after yourself you can be better for everyone around you... at home, at work and with friends.
Adopt the things that make you happier or make you feel better but if you don't like them, just don't do them again.
I'm fundamentally the same person I was before... just happier.
TRY NEW THINGS...!

Reading books, listening to podcasts and talking about it is great but the real power lies within the practice.
I spent so long reading and doing research on how we can look after our mental health and every time I read a book (mainly about transcending the mind and being happy in the now) I would feel good for a little while as if I had worked out the answer.
The problem is my mind would always creep back in and start becoming overactive again telling me that things weren't good enough just as they are and I needed to be better at this and that.
It was only when I started practicing meditation, breathwork, cold water therapy, exercise, gratitude, mindfulness etc that I started to observe this crazy conditioned mind instead of buying into it and believing everything I was thinking.
When we are living in the mind all the time we really do miss out on so much always just trying to get to the next point where we think everything will be rosy but the truth is that when we get there (if we get there) its usually short lived and then we start to chase the next thing living life on a constant hamster wheel.
It's ok to have goals and go for them but if you put all your happiness into achieving those goals you will miss out on what's around you.
The only moment we will ever have is right now so let's start training our attention and our mental health as well as our physical health to abide more fully in the present and unlock the fulness of life

How to go from overweight and overthinking to losing weight and developing a positive & confident mindset.
We can sometimes become so busy in life trying to bring in a wage whilst balancing family life as well as socialising and then throw into the mix trying to lose weight and being more healthy and this can sometimes lead us to feelings of overwhelm and thoughts of not being good enough.
I know this all too well as this used to be me some years ago until I woke up and thought enough is enough I never used to feel like this and this isn't how I should be feeling, I wanted to get the most out of my body and my mind allowing me to enjoy and make the most of my life.
I had been into fitness for a long time and knew exactly how to stay fit and lean all year round which wasn't a problem but whilst I had been training my body I forgot the most important thing, to train my mind.
I went to work with studying how the mind works and after several years of trying different modalities and techniques I discovered that I had to train my mind just like I trained my body and so I adopted some healthy habits for my mind and the results followed.
Over time my mind started to clear, I started to experience laser like focus and could see through my conditioning as well as my old programming that I had been playing in my mind. Thanks to the daily habits that I had taken on my life started to become a lot more fulfilling and I finally felt like I had my spark back once again but this time it was even brighter.
When we talk about fitness I like to include the mind because life is simply what we believe it to be. When you train your mind you slowly start to break down these old beliefs allowing you to create new ones which in turn then starts to create your own reality.
I am passionate about helping people to get out of the rut that I was stuck in for many years by coaching and supporting them to not only lose weight but also develop a positive mindset about themselves and about life.
I love working with people who are driven and determained to make a change in their life so If youβre looking to get the most out of your body and mind and you think I could help you then feel free to head over to my website and book a free strategy session with me https://www.trueselftransformation.com/home or just schedule a call through this link https://www.trueselftransformation.com/callbooking
Here at TST we don't just train the body we also train the mind so today I want to talk about gratitude and how it is one of the most powerful habits to adopt.
A great way to start a gratitude practice is by going for a 10 to 20 minute walk. Set an intention of focusing on everything there is to be greatful for the moment you leave your house to the moment you get back.
When walking think about how greatful you are for everything thats good in your life as well as the things around you for example the pavement that you are walking on someone had to make, being able to afford the nice comfy trainers that you are wearing or feeling the nice warm sun on your face etc etc.
As soon as your mind starts to wander on to other things gently bring it back to everything that you have to be greatful for just for the length of the walk.
Doing this over time will slowly train the mind to not only come back to the present moment but also focus on all the good in your life making this a powerful habit to create π
