Often we tend to avoid what emotionally hurts us, we either avoid certain situations or use alcohol or other substances of make these emotions go away.
This may work in the short term - but developing a better understanding of your emotion will allow you to move forward to learn to accept your thoughts and living your best life possible.

We all have certain beliefs about ourselves that affect our mood and self talk, but what is a belief.

A belief is a thought that over time gains strength because a lot of other thoughts are attached that support this idea, and that can happen very quickly. Because its so strong you think it's true - the truth. But that doesn't mean that it stops being a thought. " It's just a thought that people have made up about themselves".
