The thing I find funny is that Condhands's first appearence was supposed to be when Sam and Gilly excaped from Craster's keep, with the baby, and were atacked by Whites. Instead of Sam killing the walker, it was suppposed to be Coldhands...

This basicaly confirms the teory of Benjen Stark being Coldhands, this and the facts that the Three-Eyes Raven can summon Benjen everytime he wants and that Benjen saves Bran.

For those who live under a rock, I'll begin to explain what was the event of the Rains of Castamere.

Like it is today, House Lannister was the richest house in all of the Seven Kingdoms. The thing was, Tywin's father (Tytos) was a good and caring man, witch didn't inspire much respect to his bannermen.
Rumors said that the second richest house in Westeros and vassal to house Lannister (House Reyne) was working on a rebellion against their liege lord (Tytos Lannister) because they though he was weak.

To answer to this nonsense and to restore the ferocious image House Lannister once had, Tywin Lannister (with only 20 years of age) marched to Castamere (Household of the Reynes). By the time the rebellion was over, house Reyne was put to the torch, completely extinguishing from existence as all the members of that house (man, woman or child) was killed, completely eradicating House Reyne.

Because Tywin Lannister had such a huge victory with only 20 year of age, destroying an entire House and burning it to the ground, the song "Rains of Castamere" was written to acknowledge his technical mastermind and the nerve he had for strategy. All hail Tywin Lannister, Warden of the West!
