The robots know what to expect....

I have not been as active with my music the past several years, to the point some of you might not even know about it. Anyway one project that I started back in 1998 is called Small Life Form & it is about sound manipulation. The original impetus to start the project was I was listening to a lot of the 1960s avant garde classical stuff (Ligeti, Crumb, etc.) & a thirty second conversation with a friend of my father's who assumed if I made music I did on a computer (my dad was a computer guy starting in the punchcard era) that made me wonder what I could do with a computer instead of a guitar & I started doing what I have generally referred to as aggressive ambient music. In 2008 I started doing some live performances under the moniker & a significant portion of the set has been riding the wave of controlling feedback & so a couple years ago now I recorded a few short pieces just using a microphone & an amp. These are those in the ever digestible 5in5 EP format (5 songs in 5 minutes). Listen if it sounds interesting to you. Pay a buck if you want to support it or grab a free download link from below. Kinda irked that song titles need standard capitalization for digital distribution. I feel like all lowercase (or all caps for that matter) is part of an artistic statement, but not one worth limiting availability over.
