Very excited to say that I’ve been experimenting with both embroidery and making bags lately and enjoying it massively. I’m currently looking for a good leather supplier in the UK and once I found one I was thinking of taking a few commissions for bags like these and in different designs. So, do you like it? 🥰🖤

I’m officially back from my holiday and here’s a sneak peek of what will be available in my next shop update. While in Sweden I managed to source some excellent second hand brown leather and a small selection of purple and pink suede. So excited to get started! 💜🖤

I love these simple designs. And the color combination! I’ll have a few of these simple white ones available in the next shop update. (I’m thinking the perfect wedding gift?!) The leather in them comes from a pair of vintage gloves and is soooooo soft 🤍 I also hope to be able to source some more of the brown. Charity shops, here I come! 🖤

Working on something different and slightly more minimalistisc today while listening to the downpour of rain we’re getting here in York. It comes with an amazing scent of earth and coldness which reminds me of Sweden and home 🖤

Hello lovelies, I’m nearly ready to put all the latest bracelet makes up for sale. I haven’t yet made any of the largest ones (seen here on my left wrist) for this shop update, as I thought I’d check the interest first. Would anyone be interested in large the multi-braid type? 🖤

One of my favourite things about posament jewellery is that they are completely unisex! The standard size I make (17,5 cm) is suitable for both female and most male wrists 🖤

Thank you so much for your interest in my niche little craft 🖤 I’ve already had soo many requests to buy from Swedes here in the UK, and even one asking if I hold posament bracelet classes!! (Should I, when things go back to normal?) Today I’ll be reading up on starting an Etsy shop, any tips and tricks are most welcome!

Metal thread posament is a very old craft used in mainly Scandinavia and the Baltics but also elsewhere in Europe. Pictured here is a piece found in a Viking age grave in Swedish Birka 🖤
