Jacket Nation and family, I would like to announce my resignation as your head basketball coach, but also to say THANK YOU!! You welcomed my family to Rockmart six years ago with overwhelming and unwavering love and support. Rockmart is a special place to live, teach, and coach basketball (because of you all!!) and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to have been your basketball coach. Together, we have celebrated the successes of Region Championships, State Playoff victories, Christmas tournament championships and many wins at home and on the road. I've been blessed to witness players overcome adversity, gain confidence, and mature as young men. All those memories will be forever cherished. Though I will miss sharing those experiences with you all, I am excited to be less 'Coach' and more 'Dad' for a while!

(20-7, #2 Region 7AA) will host Walker (19-8, #3 Region 6AA) on Wednesday at 7:00 in the GHSA State Tournament! 🐝 🏀

A little about our opponent:
Walker is not your typical 3-seed as they were upset in the region semi-final, but have led their region and been ranked in the top 10 all year, boasting a roster that consists of the #1 ranked player in the state and #10 nationally, among other talented players.
