It's amazing how your taste buds, a certain food, or a flavour bring back some memories.

The first photo was the first time Mina made the Garlic Mushroom Pasta for me. I remember that day, that I wanted something new with pasta, apart from the usual carbonara or spaghetti sauce. So, she made this. I love it so much.

Days after that, I made Mina my first ever Chicken Cordon Bleu. She just craved for it out of the blue (no pun intended 😂). I cooked and added some twist. From then on, it has become her all-time favorite among the other dishes that I cook.

We both made them last May 2020 during the lockdown, just to deviate from ordering fast food and to try new food and flavors.

Eventually, we cooked and sent them to some of our friends, just to let them know that we've thought of them during this trying times.

Through The Chicken Project, we want to share with you the comfort food and flavors that we have come to know and love, and the stories behind them.
