Another result achieved by using a cannula and needle combination. Cannula was used to fill the lips with volume and needle to create definition on the cupids bow. My client informed me that she experienced no bruising and very minimal swelling on the cupids bow. A fantastic result!

Sometimes we don’t want big and pouty, sometimes just a little more lip with a bit of a lift. This client already had beautifully shaped lips, but wanted a bit more volume and with lip filler she got just that ✨

This client has a strong levator labii superioris muscle, this muscle contributes to facial expression and movement of the mouth and upper lip. Essentially elevating the upper lip by pulling it inward. By adding filler we were able to increase the volume of her lips and she was happy to have more of a visible lip when talking and smiling.

What is cannula?
It is a type of flexible needle, that has a blunt end. With cannulas only one entry point is used, therefore resulting in a decreased risk of pain, swelling, bruising and most importantly piercing any blood vessels during treatment.

What does it do?

What are the side effects?
Bruising and swelling can occur, which usually settle within 1-2 weeks. Lumps can be normal and usually settle within a month.
