I had such a neat surprise yesterday at Monte Vista Colorado’s the oldest Colorado Rodeo! This committee randomly draws out of each event of their performances to give the contestants a little spending money for the road 💴! Something that sure puts a smile on your face 🤠

I am constantly reminded of the goodness that is in this world today, from people in our rodeo community to share their time, events, and blessings with all of us cowboys and cowgirls.

ADVERSITY

A hardship or a time of difficult circumstances is the dictionary defintion. But this word has become something a little different for me...

I am thankful for it. For all of it, because through it, I have truly been shaped as a woman, a competitor, and a child of God.

It has given me the option, to let the "adversity" work for me, or against me, and when I finally made the choice to let it work for me, it wasn't so scary.

It is a challenge, and it takes me back to what I believe, that "despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us." Romans 8: 37

So today if you are struggling, if you are facing adversity, Romans 8 is definitely worth reading ❤️
