Hey everyone!

So as many of you know, my last location at The Eagle did turn out as planned and I was left wondering how to keep the dream alive while keeping Puttin' On The Mitts afloat and looking for a kitchen since that one didn't pan out.

Then Fred stepped in.
And let me move into the Lodi Rod and Gun Club!

Let me tell you, Fred is an amazing guy.
And now I have a kitchen (Still in Lodi!) and the dream is once again alive and starting to grow thanks to our community once again.

During this month we will be hosting a few dinners as well as a Sunday Brunch to get the community out together and to show off the new trap field that The Lodi Rod & Gun Club is putting in as we speak!

So come on out, grab some great food and enjoy yourselves!

Hey everyone!

Laurel here to give a few updates on the movements of Puttin' On The Mitts and Laurel's of Lodi Bakery & Café.

As a few of you may know, I have been trying to expand POTM into a brick and mortar for the past 5 months, and in doing so I have been a bit busy and distant on here. Well, the day I have been waiting to share with you is here, and I have to say with a very bummed out heart that our expansion is going to have to wait another year. Due to building issues that have extended further than expected it is already too late in the season to viably open and I hope to be open in the spring of 2023.

To say that these past 5 months have been anything short of testing would be an understatement. I cannot begin to tell you how often the outlook has gone from looking good, to looking great, then to not going anywhere at all. We will just say I've done the dance more than 3 times so far, and I have many times questioned my sanity.

So, long story short, things are on a temporary hold for LOL but POTM still lives on. I found a temporary commissary so that I open the dessert truck and will begin public vending in June. (I am still looking for a temporary kitchen if anyone knows a spot please let me know!!!!)

I have put so much time, focus and energy on making the cafe happen that I am now quite behind with the food truck. So I plan to take the next couple of weeks to shift my focus, realign my energy where it needs to go AND GET READY TO KICK BUTT THIS SEASON!! 🦆

Last year we did a lot of experimenting, but we also did a lot of conforming. Not only did I blur my vision by making hot food, I was so worried that people wouldn't like pudding that I pushed it to the side and didn't let it shine as it should. But, no more. This year is going to be what I dreamed up way in the beginning, because that is what my heart wants. I AM PUDDIN' THE
PUDDIN' BACK. ❤️
