Currently, it's estimated that around 1 percent of the 250 million cars, SUVs, and light-duty trucks on American roads are electric.
Even at this tiny portion the California power grid is already so distressed they are begging EV owners not to charge their cars over night.

This is less than a week after banning all new gasoline powered cars after 2035.
Does anyone believe the electric grid will be overhauled and have the massive added capacity to handle all those electric cars charging in just 15 years?

Or is it more likely the Cali govt is pushing for fewer people to own cars, get pushed into public transit or forgo traveling altogether… 🤔

There are lots of arguments for and against this excerpt - many would claim that government schools are the best example of "good socialism," while others would claim that permanent standing armies and war are the best example of "bad socialism."

It's fine to discuss all that from a theoretical view, of course. But the facts are in, and they are not favorable to authoritarianism.

And we really need to clear up something important: Socialism is authoritarianism re-branded for better marketing. So now it's very attractive to college professors, Hollywood celebs, and government school-educated puppets.

I wish we'd reconsider falling into global totalitarianism, but it seems that's what people want. And the biggest problem with libertarianism is that you can't force freedom on people who don't want it.
