I know it’s been a bit since I’ve posted but I’m back! Here’s a few pieces that I’ve worked on. Each one is about my own children. I gave myself an hour to complete each sketch so they’re in a much looser style than what I typically do but I love them!

Doctor’s Office Dramatic Play

This morning we converted our play area into the kids very own doctor’s office! The had so much fun especially at the pharmacy corner where they could fill out their medicine bottles.

The printable set is now up in my Etsy shop with 14 signs, 6 forms, and 2 x-rays.

I picked up most of the corresponding supplies from the dollar store like the bins, clipboards, folders, tweezers, pom poms, and containers. I even made our X-ray table with dollar store supplies!

We used our Melissa & Doug doctor’s kit to complete our set up.

Getting excited for !!

I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately. I haven’t had much of a chance to work on my designs but now I’m back at it! This one is a nature scavenger hunt. It’s a great way to help your little ones notice the beautiful details of nature.

After every storm there is a rainbow 🌈

This is my first illustration of a pregnant character. After having my two little ones, I’ve made plenty of drawings of babies and toddler but haven’t ventured this way. This is a personal piece that touches upon a difficult time in my own life. My son is my rainbow baby after losing our first pregnancy. It’s not something I talk about but still think about often even when surrounded by my little loves. There’s always the thought of what could have been.

I felt it was a great way to wrap up 2020. Reflecting back on the last year, I have taught myself digital illustration, opened my Etsy shop, took on personal commissions, and raised my beautiful and energetic two and three year olds. It has been a crazy year with the pandemic so here’s hoping to a calmer 2021.
