The Woman behind the brand

Myranda Côté

I was born and raised in Northern California town called Yuba City. A cow town as some call it Lol. My passion for fragrances and scents began at an early age.
Raised by my Mother and Grandmother, both of Canadian French descent-I credit them both for teaching me about my olfactory senses. My earliest memories are of my Mémère (A French-Canadian term for grandma) describing the beautiful scent of the fragrant grapefruit tree, the Jasmine bush, & the smell of rain. Wild enough, even the smell of ci******es on a hot summer day evoke an emotional memory. She was French, she smoked and loved Rosé. They both taught me how to wear fragrance and how it can become part of your wardrobe and even resemble your personality & character. Mémère always smelled of fresh roses or her YSL Paris EDT. Mom worked for several fragrance companies, so her vanity was always filled with the latest fragrance launch. I learned early on that everything has a scent, and there’s a memory connected to it. 
My fragrance journey began 17 years ago working for several of the worlds top fragrance brands. It was a brand out of London that made a long-lasting impression and inspired me to someday have a fragrance brand of my own. 
I love the story a scent can tell-it’s romantic and can transport you to a certain place in time. Fragrances create an emotional memory-in some instances the scent comes before the memory. 
My hope is that my brand inspires you to be in the moment, like they say “stop and smell the roses”. When you travel and become aware of the aromas that surround you-I hope you are inspired to capture that moment in time 🌹
