Astrology is popular and undoubtedly occupies an important place in our minds. At the same time, there are people who adhere to polar positions in relation to this phenomenon: someone fervently believes in astrology, someone no less fiercely refutes it.
It is clear that there is a problem, and it would be nice to sort it out. Can astrology be called a science at all? What is its concept? What will we get if we apply the rules of the scientific method discussed in the last issue of the journal to the analysis of astrology ("Chemistry and Life", 2008, No. 5)? Why do some scholars criticize astrology so harshly? What arguments do its adherents have?
