We want to dedicate this last day of 2020 to Lewis Hamilton. Lewis has not only pushed his rivals on track, but has also pushed his team and F1 off track. He is the face of this sport and for good reason. The fight isn't over.

Today's Women in Motorsport Wednesday shoutout is Emma Kimiläinen.

When Emma started single seater racing in Formula Ford in 2005 she won many rookie awards. She was backed by Audi in 2008 and took a hiatus for a few years after 2009, after those horrible talks with an Indy Lights team we all read about yesterday.

She returned to racing in Scandinavia in 2014. In 2019 she finished 5th in the W Series Championship, with 1 win, even though she missed two rounds.

Emma wil return to the W Series in 2021.

Sabine Kehm, former German journalist, has been the manager of two of the racing drivers in the Schumacher family (Michael and Mick) for over twenty years now.

Sabine started working for Michael in 2000. When he left F1 in 2006, Sabine became the head communications officer for Ferrari in Central- and East-Europe, but has stayed on Michael's side during his comeback to the sport.

Sabine also manages Mick. She played an integral role in Mick's junior career and in securing him a seat at Haas for 2021.

Before racing starts again, we want to highlight the achievements of some amazing female drivers this year.

It was a successful year for ELMS trio Beitske Visser, Tatiana Calderon and Sophia Floersch. The season started with an injury for original Richard Mille driver Katherine Legge, which left the team in search of a new driver. Beitske Visser was called up and performed well, even without any testing. The Richard Mille team finished 10th in the 2020 ELMS season.

The highlight of the year was of course the 24 Hours of Le Mans. All three were rookies, but by keeping their head down and making no mistakes, they finished 9th in the LMP2 class, and 13th overall.

Two of the drivers we're going to have to miss on the grid next year is 2019 Toro Rosso pairing Alexander Albon and Daniil Kvyat. Both are aiming for a return in 2022 though.

The drivers who most recently made a return to F1 after a year (or two) on the sidelines are Esteban Ocon, Fernando Alonso and Daniil Kvyat himself. Could we see a Kvyat comeback for the second time? 🤔

The man that received the last Constructors' Trophy of 2020 is none other than Red Bull's Chief Engineer Paul Monaghan.

Paul has worked in F1 since 1990, where he started at McLaren. He joined Red Bull at the end of 2005 and has now stood on the podium as a representative of that team four times.

The man representing Racing Point on the podium last Sunday is none other than Andy Stevenson.

Andy is RP's Sporting Director, meaning he deals with all things hotels, flights and racing budgets, but also regulations once at the race track.

Andy has worked in Formula 3 and Formula 3000. He started in F1 as a Chief Mechanic, and has now been Sporting Director for over 15 years. He has been with Racing Point for 30 years, through its many name and ownership changes.

Have you checked out our interview with Toni Naudé yet? The Rising Stars programme showed that being rivals on-track doesn't mean you have to be enemies off-track.
