Practice Session went good. And that's all I have to say about that.
Yo, Marshall, we need to chat real quick about this Big Bowling stuff! Call me.
Thing are shaping up nicely. Got my drill session in this morning and followed it with a striking barrage with this Omni Hybrid.
Things will be looking a little different round here....
Ugh......gonna be focused on balance today. These kinds of shots (from yesterday) are unacceptable.

A Monday Morning TOURNAMENT Bowling Reflection....weird.
It was "fun." Eastway Lanes was clean as a whistle, as always, machines ran beautifully, as always, and the staff did an amazing job of making sure everything operated efficiently and safe, as always. Dave Hewett and his tournament staff also kept their impeccable reputation, running the tournament with the utmost professionalism and efficiency, and did a great job on adapting the format appropriately for the environment of the pandemic. I truly do love it here, lil ol' Erie Penn. It's these types of people, and the passionate bowlers of our town, that make it such a special place.....and Lake Effect Snow, of course!
Personally, rather frustrated. I have had much success in this building, and to make the initial decisions I did was completely foolish. Like, if it ain't broke don't fix it! Foolish. Until "the burn," my success there has come from the same part of the lane, managing ball motion and carry the same kind of ways, why do it any different? 190, 202, trying to "tween it" while the scores across the house are through the roof. Foolish. Mentally rusty. Du***ss. And I even missed 2 ten pins. Terrible. Just terrible. SMH
"Move right and throw it harder," right William OBrien? Black Widow 2.0, suitcase free swingin fast balls, Eugene style, 269, 245 to finish....and even that was poorly executed. We missed the cut by well over a hundred pins, so at least we can skip the "coulda shoulda wouldas." I feel bad for Dan, though. I wasn't much help to him either, as I was fighting my own demons. Sorry pal.
On the bright side!, 2 of my friends, and Next Level Pro Shop customers, 1 of them a regular in the , WON! "Times News Doubles Champions," has quite the nice ring to it, doesn't it Pat and Ned?! CONGRATS!!!
Until the next one,
It's special.
😍😍❤️❤️✌️
We're gettin a lil more serious!

I have officially entered the 2019 PTQ for the US Open. I've never bowled a "Bunny Squad" before!
Follow the tournament on bowl.com under Tournaments - Short-Duration - U.S. Open
I will not be bowling the PBA WSOB X. The positives/negatives and risk/reward just didn't balance in favor. I will be focused on the USBC Masters.
I've never bowled a format like this before, but I am stoked!

Round 2 in the books, sitting 23rd at the . Thanks to for letting me know the lanes were on for practice at 4:47, oops. I thought we started at 6:00 last night. Hammer Solid to start, Columbia 300 Life in the middle, then got in a Hammer the last 2 games. The line-up is good, but going to make some minor surface changes for this morning. Back at it at 10 AM (I think)
Sloppy out of the gate. Getting comfy. Hammer Statement Solid and Columbia 300 Savage Life were the weapons. I don't see that changing much. Back at it at 6:00

reflections:
I am so grateful for all of the support. This is a rush that nothing in life can compare. I missed the crowd, the cheers, the applause. It was so much fun! To all my family, friends, fans, and followers. Thank you thank you thank you!
I have to be honest. It wasn't my best. I've got better. But what I did best, was find something I was good at, and make it work. The "coulda shoulda wouldas" are infinite in Bowling, and I refuse to think about them. I don't "count" breaks. I just believe I am lucky, because I am!
The first 2 rounds, I felt like a rookie. Everything just felt new....and awkward. I got comfy somewhere in the middle of that second round, and it felt like I never missed a step. Spare shooting was sloppy early on as I missed 3 ten pins in qualifying that were the result of a thumb hole issue. I fixed it. After that, the spare game is on point. I may have been running low on hand strength Friday night, but I'm not really worried about the wrist. Things are looking/feeling pretty good!
Thanks Dr Charles Hewett for keeping me in line. The back is feeling much better (I slipped on the ice 2 weeks ago).
My "caddies, ball reps, and punching bags," Rob, Shawn ( ), and Snelly, Great job. Thank you!
My Social Media promoter guy, IT guy, new website guy, Assistant Pro, Larry, thanks for all your work and support!

In case y'all haven't heard, I'm back!...a member, in good standing, with the PBA! My career, with the little success I have had, has been revolved around versatility. Well, in the coming weeks, I'll be giving you a little show of my rather versatile taste in music. Song for the day: Walk Of Life
