Did you ever wonder what the world would be like if we lifted up scientist and researchers to the level of professional athletes? If we celebrated breakthrough treatments and new cures the way we celebrate trophies and championships? So did we - now we're doing something to change that!
We are Uplifting Athletes and we're attempting a moonshot effort to get a commercial onto the Super Bowl that drives millions of new viewers (and dollars) to our Young Investigator Draft - an event modeled after the NFL draft - where promising young rare disease researchers are "drafted" (given major research grants) and, one day, patient/advocacy/BioPharm could come to draft their research dream-teams.
We believe this could mark a transformative shift in how our society engages with, supports, and respects the research community and, ultimately, lead to a whole new generation of amazing researchers looking for treatments and cures!
