J-4ce Personal Training
I provide at-home personal training solutions for clients of all age ranges and abilities. Whether yo
At the gym reading between sets. Use your time efficiently! A lot of people say they have no time to workout, but I bet if they were to account for wasted time throughout their days their eyes would pop out of their heads!
This will be the first training studio for here in Prince Albert! Going to be making some purchases every month to make this into a small but great training studio! Excited!
Back at the gym with a sprained foot. Gotta get a pump in though while my foot is in a sleeve! Let’s go!!!
Couldn’t ask for a better and more caring staff than that which we have at King George Community School here in Prince Albert!
Dressing well=feeling good. Get to the gym and do a workout everyday.
Ready to have some fun and get in shape? Then come on down to the Royal Canadian Legion on 8th street here in Prince Albert from 7:00-8:15 for Jammin’ with Jamie! Every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7:00-8:15. Open to all adults! For Saskatchewan Seniors Fitness Association Members it is $8/class. Non-members $10. We will be incorporating strength training, cardio, yoga, tai chi, team games, and a social atmosphere for one great workout! :)
Always remember to properly hydrate before, during, and after your workouts! If you are dehydrated your muscles will be exhausted that much quicker during your exercises. 2.5-3 litres of pure water per day for the average adult is optimal and this is without factoring in the consumption of diuretics such as coffee and sofa. For every cup of coffee consumed you should drink a cup and a half of water to replace that water that will be flushed from your system.
For the month of September the first 5 people to sign up for training sessions will receive a free training session!
For example: 10 sessions=$400 -$40 (1 free session)=$360 for 10 sessions. Purchase a Saskatchewan Seniors Fitness Association membership and send us a picture of it and you will receive another 10% off!
Today I woke up feeling a bit anxious and a little lonely to be honest. The world does not care.. time will pass you by and you will be left on the sidelines of life. That which is simultaneously the hardest to do when feeling anxious (action) is the best thing to do for your health. That’s why I always write out lists and check off things when I accomplish them!
Get to the gym and sweat it out! Push yourself hard and break through to another level! If you need a personal trainer to get you there J-4ce Personal Training is for you! www.j4cetraining.com
Do you ever look at yourself in the mirror and feel ashamed?,embarrassed?, not enough?, or just weak? I feel you.. remember that the gym is not only the place to work on your physical health, but your mental and spiritual health too. If you’re feeling like one of those adjectives I just listed, I want you to look at your workout and just say to yourself “I will conquer all of these sets because I am sooooo powerful!!”
Tai chi is great for people of all ages. It is like a moving meditation. It centres your focus on your breathing, lowers your blood pressure, and improves your balance among other things.
Always reading in between sets! Learning while training is the best way to utilize your rest time!
You have to go hard and get nasty! Lift until you can’t lift no more! That’s when you’re done! Complete failure!!!!
Be present and in the moment. The more we focus on our breath and being present with ourselves and our loved ones, the more joy we will have in our lives.
I was on the road today and it made me think of an epidemic that we have in our modern day society.. That epidemic is called “being sedentary” or sitting for far too long. Sitting too much has been linked to heart disease, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension etc. A solution for driving long distances that will keep you awake and get your blood circulating better, is to get out of your car once an hour and do 30-50 body weight squats in a row. It will get your heart rate going, wake you up, and get your blood circulating.
Saw this baby bird laying on the ground in my yard and it reminded me how life is such a gift and is so fragile :)
