ADHD children tend to have unique challenges and sometimes have difficulties coping with those challenges. The purpose of this book is to provide children with ADHD a fun and positive way to cope with challenges that they may be experiencing; due to their symptoms that are a result of ADHD. Being that coloring is therapeutic and calming, it can be used as a coping skill. Coloring is very beneficial for children who may be experiencing a hard time processing their feelings because it provides them with an outlet to express themselves. Coloring can also be used as self-expression because it allows children to make decisions and to select the colors that they would like to use.

The overall purpose of this journal is to provide you with a space to express yourself freely. This journal is to let you know that you are not alone. What you find in this journal is what we call in the psychology world psycho-education. Just information regarding topics that you may or may not be familiar with.
