Witches don’t believe in magic. It would be like "believing" in the rain or gravity or a hug.

Witches work with magic because it’s there. At our fingertips. Like the artist captures the images of her imagination, the witch cast spells of her intention.

Because she can, because she has too, because it’s her talent, her job, and goddamn responsibility.

Because it’s in her blood.

I sit down in ritual work almost every day. I collect my thoughts, channel my energy, and send out my intentions. I cast spells and connect with ancestors.

Sometimes I use magical tools, as a tarot deck, crystals, purifying smoke from plants, an adorned candle, runes, and oils... but tools are not essential. They are amazing friends and allies that make my work enjoyable, sure.

But I can do ritual work with a piece of string, a napkin and a pen. I can pick flowers or leaves or rearrange a hotel room so the sun flows in beautifully through the window. I can do magic anywhere, and with anything accessible.

Because intention is everything. Let me repeat. INTENTION IS EVERYTHING.

Play with what you have. Make a pretty altar with whatever is available. Still your mind. Ask for support. Call in what you need. Breath.

Intention is everything. And you already got everything that you need.

When did I last eat?
When did I rest?
Do I need a shower?
Have I been outside in the fresh air?
Have I moved my body?
When was the last time I talked to someone who believes in my dreams?
When was the last time I talked to universe/God/spirit guides?
When was the last time I sat in silence with myself?

Love yourself, be fierce in your self-care. Mother your own soul. And you will feel better. 💕
