Friends, I'm happy to announce I recently graduated from New York Life's six-month Associate Partner program and have transitioned to full Partner.
I joined NYL in the Accelerated Path to Management program, where one serves as an agent and registered rep for up to twelve months to learn the ropes and then transitions to partnership. Hit the metrics in six, entered the program in month 8.
The training and support has been top-shelf. I was coming out of academia (I was Associate Dean of Arts & Sciences at a great university) with experience in leadership and management but not in finance or sales. The training and support made all the difference.
If I can succeed as an agent and Partner, other career switchers with similar experience can too, whatever the industry. If you're in a similar boat and looking for a great opportunity, reach out to me.

US markets are down 2.28 to 2.89 percent today as I type this. This is not a cause for panic. World markets were significantly more volatile last night.
What will matter is the short term trend—that is, the rest of the week. The possibility of more kinetic activity in the Middle East is in many ways already priced in. What would cause a major downturn would be a sudden, “black swan” event—like COVID, China moving on Taiwan, etc.
So my quick friendly advice is not to worry, don’t look too deeply at your portfolios, and hold whatever course. But if you are concerned and you’d like a conversation, reach out.
