Orlando Police traffic enforcement with FDOT grant funds continues through September 2023.
“The special enforcement covers the parts of Interstate-4, and state roads 408, 417, and 528 that are within the Orlando city limits.
Among the 60 drivers who were cited for speeding in January, 33 were driving more than 90 mph and nine were driving faster than 100 mph, according to police.”

Police hit Orlando’s biggest roads for traffic enforcement crackdown The Orlando Police Department pulled over 180 drivers last month in a new special enforcement effort on the city’s busiest highways.
Would you like your insurance to go up? Just cause a crash doing this and it is sure to occur. A traffic crash with you at fault in combination with a moving traffic violation is 4 points on your drivers license. Taking a driver improvement course to remove points only takes away 3 points, if that option is even available to you.
There is no doubt a traffic crash will be captured with the amount of going on. This Dunce passed on a double yellow line and almost went head on with opposing traffic.

An FHP Trooper was unknowingly captured on dashcam setting a positive example for surrounding motorists. Considerate and Consistent Lane Changes on Interstate 4 West Bound at the S.R. 528 EB Ramp.

LOOKING FOR WITNESSES/INFORMATION:
At about 2:30 p.m., East Patrol officers responded to S. Semoran Blvd. and Lee Vista Blvd. in reference to a shooting and armed robbery.
The male victim was a passenger in a car that was rear-ended by an SUV on S. Semoran Blvd. After both vehicles pulled over to the side of the road, the victim got out to speak with the driver. At that point, a male suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and took his backpack which led to an argument and struggle.
The suspect pulled out a firearm and shot the victim before getting back in his SUV with the backpack and taking off.
The victim was able to run to the parking lot of a nearby restaurant where responding officers found him and were able to apply a tourniquet to his injuries. He was taken to an area hospital.
There is no suspect information at this time. But it’s believed he was driving a gold, older-model Nissan Murano.

Days before Christmas 2022, reckless motorcyclist almost crashes after stunting on major roadway, S. Kirkman Rd.
Where are the police aggressive driving units created to enforce traffic laws and dissuade this reckless behavior?
While you slept, police work was underway. A dynamic takedown on S. Conway Road by OIA. Bad guy car (towards front of intersection) pinched between unmarked cars and blocked on the side. Multiagency marked vehicle support.
***This is how reckless drivers could be apprehended but this technique is reserved for serious (felony) type crimes at the present time. *** Empower law enforcement agency leadership to utilize this technique to get back control of our roadways. Give them the “green light” by writing agency heads, city commissioners, and county commissioners. Tell them what YOU want. Until then, the pendulum will not swing back from lawlessness.

This makes Dunce Driving! The white vehicle was stolen. The blue vehicle is an unmarked Orlando Police Department vehicle. The driver of the white vehicle does a drive-by, shooting at officers multiple times. Officers were not stuck, driver arrested.

This is a prime example of a driver who is impatient.
1. No signal given (turn signal) indicating the lane change was about to occur.
2. Lane change occurred with less than a safe distance between vehicles.
3. Lane change while approaching an intersection under a 'stale green' traffic signal, which means it could change to red soon.
4. Lane change was still occurring in the safe zone (solid white stripe) leading into the intersection.
