Our last quiz of the year & what a corker it was 😀 Well done once more to the winners & many thanks to the great Quizmaster Rob DJ who provides the finest of quizzes and of course to the generous donations of some fabulous prizes over the year from the Verwood based The Smithy Bar!

Wow we’ve only gone and won the Greene King pub of the year at the Great British Pub awards last night in Manchester. 🏆

We just wanted to say a big thank you not only to Greene King Brewery and The Morning Advertiser for their support but to our team, our locals and all of those that choose the Stag, who without would not make any of this possible.

It’s so important to keep using your pubs … they are vital to all communities …. It’s more than pulling a pint or serving food, it’s about creating an experience, a welcoming environment, a place to make new or share memories with families, friends and neighbours.
