Julia Pazmandy lives to help people and is dedicated to sharing positivity as far and wide as she can. Born in Siberia, Russia, she has lived in France, Spain, Cyprus and moved to Canada 18 years ago. Julia’s cosmopolitan upbringing exposed her to rich cultures and many languages, and provided an appreciation for diversity, a vitality for life, and deep empathy for the struggles and challenges of people.

Her parents came from two different worlds – Julia’s mother from an aristocratic family of professionals, while her father had a much more humble upbringing and rose from extreme poverty. Growing up was a dichotomy of enlightening worldly experiences and, at a much too young age, coping with the emotional struggles of a troubled parent.Β Β Β

In her professional life, Julia initially took the path of a businesswoman and entrepreneur. During these formative years she operated a total of six businesses, ultimately selling four of them and continuing to manage two. It was no small feat as a mother of three young children and with the added pressures of a difficult upbringing, combined with frenetic business and personal lives. Eventually it all became too much for her to cope with, and Julia had hit the emotional bottom. She needed to recapture happiness and consider a new path.

Julia sought guidance and counselling support – to understand and deal with her troubling past, determine a path for the present, and consider what should be next for her in the future. It was a defining period in her life and moved her to a passion for helping others. While taking the time to work on herself, Julia reached out to others through social posts, offering to help anyone coping with similar challenges – to simply talk or even provide business advice.

β€œI had something to give, and people started reaching out,” she says. β€œIt gave me purpose.”

Julia had previously studied psychology, psychosomatics, and had familiarity with psychiatry. But most importantly, she felt that her own personal journey to recovery and years of helping people could benefit and inspire others. Throughout her life, friends and colleagues would often seek her counsel and support.
