Have you heard of the term child prodigy? A child prodigy refers to a child who has exceptional talent, someone who has made a remarkable mark in their fields in their childhood: be it music, mathematics, science, sports or the like. We feel proud when we hear of child prodigies hailing from our town, city or country. But have you ever paused and reflected: our very own Jain Shasan has produced countless child prodigies. Now, while there are a few who consider this to be a matter of pride, the reality is, many so-called Jains have left no stone unturned to criticise Bal Diksha, particularly on social media platforms.

Disturbed by this constant criticism, we approached our Gurudev, Siddhant Prabhavak, Maharashtra Shardul, Suvishal Gachchhadhipati P Pu Acharya Bhagwan Shri Vijay Punyapalsurishwarji Maharaj Saheb, and asked him if there was any way we could educate the masses about the significance of Bal Diksha. Bhagwant said, ‘Bal Diksha Sanrakshak, Diksha Yug Pravartak, Tapagachchhadhiraj Param Pujya Acharya Bhagwan Shrimad Vijay Ramchandrasurishwarji Maharaja, gave four sermons, four vyakhyans, on Bal Diksha, almost a 100 years ago in the year 1931. They had been translated into English but ran out of print. These vyakhyans prove that the Bal Diksha is appropriate, not only according to the scriptures but also according to logic.’

Inspired by this, we are republishing this book in a rather short span of time. Pujya Maharaj Ji has referred to the granths of Bhagwan Haribhadrasurishwarji Maharaja and Bhagwan Yashovijayji Maharaja extensively here. What is surprising is that the false claims that people make about Bal Diksha now, have already been rebutted by these Acharya Bhagwants over 1500 years ago! Be it a Jain or a non-Jain, be it a beginner or be it a Bahushrut Shravak, this book, I guarantee you, is certain to be an eye opener!

I urge each and everyone of you present here, particularly my young friends who only communicate in English, to read this book. It is my sincerest request that you share with us your experiences and feedback after reading this book!
