There’s been many new faces here so I figured I would re-introduce myself. 👋

My name is Mark and I am one half of MarKez (Mark + Kez)! I have always doodled and done art in some way. From graffiti to graphic design to calligraphy and portraits I LOVE creating meaningful art that captures memories and adds personal touches to your home.

This only started in October of last year and has been completely organic and natural. It’s been fun to see it grow and I am thankful beyond measure to those of you that continue to support us!

This is how it all started.
I’ve doodled and drawn my whole life but it wasn’t till just a few months ago that I started to put my work out there. It’s an incredibly humbling experience but also really rewarding. I’m grateful for this outlet and the opportunity this work has afforded me. In just such a short time I’ve met so many amazing people and learned SO much about not just the artistic process but how to operate and organize a business. I’m thankful :)

We are called Markez because my name is Mark and my nickname for my wife is Kez. When we first started dating we came up with the name Markez and it’s stuck around since. 😅

I only started to share my art at the end of October, and within two months I had the chance to be at two markets back to back. I did the on Saturday, with no plans of doing another. On the following Wednesday, announced they had a spot open up for that coming Sunday, and lo and behold there I was. I had a BLAST there and getting to draw Kate was an even bigger honour! My wife won’t stop talking about Sweet Jolie and I literally will never not hear about a sale that’s going on. Ladies, check it out. Fellas, take note 😂
