I wouldn't say that our podcast has a tagline yet, but if it did, it would be 1 Corinthians 16:13. Paul always seemed to bring the heat when he wrote letters and preached.

Let’s unpack this verse, but if you do not read any further, know that GOD LOVES YOU!
“For God so loved the world”: When God created us, He created us as free agents, meaning that we have free will and are able to do what we want. In doing so, He knew that mankind would sin and would never be able to meet His righteous standard. Therefore, He gave His Son, Jesus, to be the sacrifice for everyone to satisfy the wages of sin (Romans 6:23).
What does it mean that “whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life”? Because Jesus came to this world by the miracle of being born by a virgin, Mary, He was the only one able to be the sacrifice for you and me if He lived a sinless life…Which He did (2 Corinthians 5:21). Now that He was born of immaculate conception and lived a sinless life, He would need to go to the cross to satisfy the wrath of God for sin.
Since this has all taken place, how does one become saved? The Bible states that once God draws you in, you are able to put your sin under a microscope and see that Jesus is the true payment for sin and the only way by which you can be saved. The moment a person turns from their sin and trusts in Jesus to be forgiven of their sin, they are saved (Acts 2:37-41).
John 3:16 is a beautiful reminder of the depth of God's love and the hope that faith in Jesus brings. It's not just a verse; it's a lifeline.
