Our Body - our "Being" is a Temple of God.

Feeling hurt and upset because someone is tarnishing your temple where the Holy Ghost and God resides is punishable!

It does not make you unteachable, it is the cause and effect of being persecuted and mocked.

Even the Pioneers protected themselves from the mobs, persecutors, and the evil works of people. Why can't you?

Do not be mistaken when we apply the Christ-like Attributes.

Align it with Jesus Christ Teachings and examples.

We can change our behavior. Our very desires can change. How? There is only one way. True change—permanent change—can come only through the healing, cleansing, and enabling power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. He loves you—each of you! Worthiness Is Not Flawlessness

When you feel like you have failed too many times to keep trying, remember Christ’s Atonement and the grace it makes possible are real.

• Some mistakenly receive the message that repentance is a onetime event.

President Russell M. Nelson has taught, “Repentance … is a process.” Repentance may take time and repeated effort, so forsaking sin and having “no more disposition to do evil, but to do good continually” are lifetime pursuits.

Life is like a cross-country road trip. We can’t reach our destination on one tank of gas. We must refill the tank over and over.

Taking the sacrament is like pulling into the gas station. As we repent and renew our covenants, we pledge our willingness to keep the commandments, and God and Christ bless us with the Holy Spirit. In short, we promise to press forward on our journey, and God and Christ promise to refill the tank.

• God’s message is that worthiness is not flawlessness. Worthiness is being honest and trying

You’re not a hypocrite because you have a bad habit you are trying to break. You are a hypocrite if you hide it, lie about it, or try to convince yourself the Church has the problem for maintaining such high standards. Being honest about your actions and taking steps to move forward is not being a hypocrite. It is being a disciple.”

• God does not need people who are flawless. He seeks those who will offer their ‘heart and a willing mind’ [Doctrine and Covenants 64:34], and He will make them ‘perfect in Christ’ [Moroni 10:32–33].”

We should pray in accord with the will of our Heavenly Father. He wants to test us, to strengthen us, and to help us achieve our full potential.

When we pray, we should not presume to give counsel but should inquire of the Lord and hearken to His counsel.

@jeffreyrholland has been called to serve as Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He received the official appointment and was set apart by Church President @russellmnelson on November 15, 2023, succeeding the late Acting President M. Russell Ballard, who died on November 12, 2023.  The Quorum of the Twelve Apostles is the second-highest presiding body in the government of the Church. In addition to their primary responsibility to be special witnesses of the name of Christ throughout the world, these Apostles have significant administrative responsibilities in overseeing the operation and development of a global Church. They serve under the direction of the First Presidency, which includes the Church President and two counselors.  It is the Church’s practice that the senior member by date of assignment to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles becomes quorum president. There is not anything about your life that gets bent or broken that He cannot fix and will fix.

Repentance includes recognizing that we have done wrong and need to repent, confessing our sins, restoring whatever can be restored, and resolving to obey the Lord.

Repentance brings about spiritual healing of the soul.

The Lord is the ultimate caregiver.

We must surrender ourselves to the Lord.

In doing so, we give up whatever is causing our pain and turn everything over to Him.
