We are stoked to announce that Lynghaugparken is nominated for the Bergen Architecture and Urban Design Award 2022. Designed in collaboration with our good friends at Norconsult , perfectly executed by Boasson and brilliantly captured by Are Aasvang . The award is handed out at the annual Urban Development conference at the 25th of November.

Let’s clean up more rivers, like this one in Lynghaugparken. Regenerated to support life and biodiversity!

Play, movement, social space and place making. These will be our focus as we set about designing new outdoor areas in four Tromsø schools.

The goal is to open up a wide range of activities and social opportunities for students. Specifically adapted to Tromsø, we’ll accommodate students’ wants and needs, for year round activity in the Arctic climate.

How do we create an inviting meeting place? One that supports inclusion, belonging, learning and mastery for a diversity of young people?

It all starts with listening.

At Florø Ungdomsskule more than 500 people are involved in the user engagement process for redesigning the schoolyard. Working together, we’ll create a new community meeting place.

We had a great time conducting input meetings, interviews, local walking tours and pizza nights with the young people of Florø last week, and are looking forward to continuing the process together.
