Having been a part of a few Christian bands, I've seen how God has opened doors to reach people that I would never normally have the chance to even speak to. Our focus in these bands was to always reach out and connect with other bands, that might be playing on the same bill, and with audience members. We had so many people come up to us and tell us how a song had helped them get through a rough time, even though they weren't necessarily Christian themselves.
We got given opportunities to not only play in front of large crowds but also to speak to them (either from the stage or afterwards at the merch tables).

There's nothing better than helping to create something that you know will go out and touch people's lives... maybe even for eternity :)
