Rest In Paradise Our Queen, reunited with Prince Philip… 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

My friend posted this and I think it's beautiful


Phillip came to me today,
and said it was time to go.
I looked at him and smiled,
as i whispered that "I know"

I then turned and looked behind me,
and seen I was asleep.
All my Family were around me,
and I could hear them weep.

I gently touched each shoulder,
with Phillip by my side.
Then I turned away and walked,
with My Angel guide.

Phillip held my hand,
as he lead the way,
to a world where King's and Queens,
are Monarch's every day.

I was given a crown to wear
or a Halo known by some.
The difference is up here,
they are worn by everyone.

I felt a sense of peace,
my reign had seen its end.
70 years I had served my Country,
as the peoples friend.

Thank you for the years,
for all your time and love.
Now I am one of two again,
in our Palace up above.

Life with IIH

Another dark room
And yet another sleepless night
Pain taking over my body
Like a Boa squeezing tight,
Head feels squished & Dizzy
Tinnitus the one & only sound
Eyes blurry and sore
Has Froch had me for a few rounds?,
Playing the same old game
Am I really gonna be sick?
Or do I just feel like I’m gonna be..
S**t! “Pass me the bowl quick!”,
I wanna get off this ride now
This Life rollercoaster is too much
I can’t even bear to laugh no more
Or have a hug or be touched,
Rocking on the inside
But oh so steady on the out
If it wouldn’t hurt my head so much
I swear I’d scream & shout!,
But it would hurt so damn much
So silent I will stay
Over thinking every little twinge
As I do everyday,
Wanting so desperately to go out
And party with my friends
But I can’t drink, can’t stand
And we all know how the night would end,
So here I stay in my dark room
Because I can’t even get out of bed
IIH is taking over my body
And fu***ng up my head...

‘Twas the night before December
And all was still in the House
Not a Soul was stirring
Not even Mickey Mouse!
The boxes lay ready
All stood in a row
With Christmas Decs printed on the side
It would soon be so clear where they should go,
Miles and miles of lights tangled in a bundle
Candy Canes all ready for the tree
Baubles wrapped so carefully
All waiting for the tree,
I lay here in bed like many others
Wondering if I’ll have enough spoons to help me through the day
Being a Chronic Pain Worrier can really suck
But we never let that get in our way!
There’s always two ways to face pain
Let it win or you win
And if all else fails....
There’s always a bottle of Gin!

Normally I would be writing a post to say I’m giving up something for Lent to raise money to IIH UK.. This Year is a little different (sorry guys)...

As you all know my Amazingly Talented Beautiful Friend Heidi is crippled with Lyme’s Disease and desperately needs further treatment at a specialist clinic in Germany (due to the NHS/UK not treating Lyme’s Disease after the first year - still seems crazy to me when we are now in 2018!!!!)..

But funds are low and we need to raise them fast as Heidi needs to be over there as soon as possible!

So, for those of you who know me well, you will know just how hard this will be!!

From now and for the duration of Lent I give up Waffles (my Folks bought me a waffle maker for Christmas and OMG!) AND CHOCOLATE 🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀

So come on guys surely this deserves a sponsor and for you to put your hands in your pocket between the tissues, moths (Dad), empty sweet wrappers etc and give some eh?! She definitely deserve it don’t she!!
