Today I tried.... and failed at abstract art. I had envisioned something totally different than the way it came out on the canvas. Here she is in all her glory for all to see. 😂 I’m not mad... I’ll just give it a shot tomorrow! If first you don’t succeed... right? 🤷🏼‍♀️
Have you sat down and been creative, lately? Being creative is good for the soul. Even though I feel like I failed at the ultimate goal that I had, I still feel fulfilled in another way. my friends ❤️❤️

Thinking about building another fireplace. Just because! What’s Christmas without hanging stockings and decorating a mantel??? This is the fireplace that I had rescued from goodwill last year and built a hearth for. I shiplapped above to make it look more “built-in”. It didn’t really bother me tearing it down and taking it to my antique booth. But now, Christmas is around the corner and I want one! 😂

Simple Halloween Decor With Thrifted Items.

I don’t know about you guys, but I am really trying to embrace the art of “LESS IS MORE” in my home these days. I have to say that I feel a true sense of calm seeing little touches here and there..... vs. of “ALL THE THINGS” 😊

Although thrifting my home decor is a true passion for me, I.just.CAN’T.showcase.everything!!

I’m learning to NOT buy it all AND when something I love comes in the house... Something I don’t love anymore has to find its new home.

So today, I’m sharing a NEW LOVE.... check out these amazing tumblers and the baskets I found to house them! I also found this green pitcher wrapped in wicker...Gah! 😍
