What an amazing night!💥💫 ❤️Ancestra opening .theater directed by with beautiful set design, lights, music, and choreography by my friend Holly Handman Lopez; powerful performances by a cast of 13 in multiple roles. Such a thrill to experience it with my co-writer and our collaborator on the 2014 production Sally Groth. After a summer of rewrites, Ancestra is now preparing for sister productions in early 2024 - one at Cleveland State University and one at Oberlin College! Kick-ass cold reading tonight at CSU with 13 actors led by my co-writer and director of the CSU production . We got some artists back from the Marie Curie process including David Stoughton on Lights and as Music Director… brilliant! Then connecting with Oberlin’s director, super talented and hearing updates on her design team and cast … feeling I can safely say we got some DREAM TEAMS in the making ❤️❤️❤️ !!!

Warehouse space…transformed. The Frances Transmedia Project took this beautiful little black box and made a film studio in the middle of IngenuityFest this past weekend. Video Artist was on fire 🔥 making live miniature sets with toys, found objects, paper and light…a custom design for each audience actor. Diligent work from our PA Adam brought the process down to 15 minutes per shoot! And then the cameras would roll…!
