**Performances by Chinese-Irish trio "Lucky Pluckers" with harpist Diana Rowan, violinist Colm O'Riaian and guzheng artist Winnie Wong. This is an amazingly unique and emotional blend of traditional folk and improvisations!

**Premiere of Ms. Wong's newest creation, "General's Aria" An emotional unfolding and musical journey through war performed by Winnie Wong, CSME Principal performers and world percussion team with Nick Sager, Daniel Hirtz and Crystal Jang.

CALLING FOR TALENT! Young musicians who enjoy performing and would love to be apart of a world music ensemble.....WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU! China's Spirit Music Ensemble, is hosting an audition to put together a small ensemble to perform as apart of CSME along side one of Bay Area's longest running guzheng ensemble founded by teacher, Director and guzheng artist Winnie Wong.

This is NOT a competition, however an opportunity to learn, perform and for students of western instruments to dive into genres they normally would not get a chance to experience through their orchestras or solo settings.

There will be limited seatings and no seats sold at the door! Small humble recital which we would love visitors/audiences from the local community to witness the growth of our students from the past 2 years!

CSME forever lost one of our family member and a GREAT friend and father.

Benson Louie is the loving father of two 2 beautiful young ladies whom I've had the honor of watching them grow up since they were 3 and 6. In addition, I've had wonderful memories teaching his oldest daughter Guzheng for 11 years. During those 11 years, the Louie family and especially Benson, has been our photographer and dedicated stage manager. He's done so much for China's Spirit Music Ensemble during that time and even after his oldest daughter moved on to college, he didn't stop helping out Guzheng community.

RIP Benson. You will never be forgotten. Our community will continue to help you love and support your family the way you did for others so selflessly.

Hello everyone! Recently learning on the importance of organizations like Asian American Donor Program and their importance to our Asian community!

Did you know that there is a shortage of bone marrow donors for our community? I'm honored to perform on behalf of organizations such as AADP and being able to draw awareness on matters like this! Come to our event Sunday and let's all "Pay it Forward"! Throughout all walks of life, we all could use an "act of kindness" from a fellow human being. Many of these acts come from total strangers. What better way to bring together all communities than passionate performance from passionate musicians!

AADP will be setting up a registration table this Sunday and you can be one to help increase the number of Asian bone marrow and blood donors by signing up, encouraging others or just listen to music!

So whether you would like to show support by being an audience, cash donor, blood donor or bone marrow donor, we welcome your with an outstanding FREE concert by world renown musicians!
