My illustrator is a young woman from Kiev, Ukraine. I haven't heard from her in months, but recently she emailed and said she was OK. I was very relieved. She even said she had started sketching the second book in the Not Really series - The Terrible Day (Not Really): Let's Count by Twos. I told her that whatever/whenever she does any sketching is fine with me. There are no deadlines. Here is one of her sketches. Lisa and Charlie (main characters) are back!

I'm excited to be doing my first reading and book signing at the Genesse Depot Holiday Fair in Wisconsin on December 11! There will be around 150 kids bouncing in line waiting for a visit from Santa. Myself and seven other local authors have a big job keeping the kids occupied with our readings!😀
