Which one do your prefer?

If I had to choose, definitely a cup over pads however I LOVE menstrual disc! 😩
It’s so easy to use and it literally feels like nothing is inside of you.

I tried using cups for a good 4 months and I just didn’t get the comfort of placement down pack.

Blood on my skin would irritate me by day 2 which is why I try to stay away from pads.

Let’s be honest. When I was in esthetics school I was never taught how to perform a Brazilian wax.

I was taught about skin textures, the correct way to apply wax and proper sanitation methods. Don’t get me wrong, those things are very important and should definitely be learned to be efficient in waxing.

However, what I was so eager to learn and practice…. Wasn’t even addressed. I decided to take a course with a licensed esthetician who introduced me to mapping and different wax techniques that I shared with my classmates!

I’m saying all of that to say, school is just the foundation! As you get into the field, you’ll find out that the hands on and up to date techniques you’ll have to take outside classes for.

Learning doesn’t stop once you get your license! Don’t be afraid to invest in yourself and your business. Pay for that class and add as many certificates as you feel necessary to your name!💕

Which one do your prefer when it comes to physical exfoliation?

The exfoliating glove or the dry brush?

Me personally, I love both! I use the exfoliating glove more so for my bikini area and the dry brush for larger parts of my body.

Both are really great tools when it comes to sloughing off that top layer of dead skin.

Getting waxed while on your period is extremely normal.

Insert a fresh tampon, cup or disk before your appointment and you’re good to go.

If you aren’t comfortable with proceeding with your wax while on your cycle, communicate your concerns with your service provider and understand that same day fees may apply.

I recommend a pain pill of your choice to minimize the discomfort you may experience after your Brazilian wax.

When switching from shaving or nair (y’all know how I feel about nair🤮) I recommend at least 4 weeks of hair growth!

If the hair is too short for the wax to grab, it’ll either break off at the tip or not stick to the wax at all.
