Ongoing demolition of our project in Orabella, Quezon City.
Digital Sketches. On-site sketching, in digital form, is an essential part of our workflow. This way, we can provide site instructions clearly and discuss and collaborate faster.
We tried something different! Unlike our previous videos that explain the concepts and ideas behind a project, this content is about Architectural Storytelling. We conceptualized a story that was based on the experiences that our client wanted to have in their space and reflected it in this video.
The events in this video were only inspired by our client’s story and doesn't represent their lifestyle literally.
Work Hard, Play Hard. | Almost a perfect work-life balance. Our goal for this Architectural Storytelling is to show the deeper meaning of the spaces that we designed. We conceptualized a story that was based on the ex...
For the Toilet and Bath, nothing much has changed since the building admin is strict about it. Generally the walls and floors are on concrete textured tiles and we accentuated the shower area using a smaller black textured tiles.

The Bedroom was re-layout because of the relocated door. We managed to include a big closet with full height mirror, vanity table that can also act as work desk, full double sized bed with floating bedframe, and an open flexible space. We also designed a ledge that houses the projector, books, or other display items.

The Living Area is the major space for this project. Our client occasionally invites friends and family for movie and game nights, or just simply relax and have a good conversation. One of the request of our client is to have an excellent entertainment cabinet. We achieved to comply with this requirement by designing a movable cabinet. The continuous design of the entertainment cabinet creates a bigger and more grandeur feeling while lounging on the sofa.

The Dining Area is pretty simple, it was designed to be connected with the Living Area to entice a good conversation during gatherings. Although the space is an open plan, we accentuated the area by using a pendant light. The dining area is also a comfortable space as a workstation so we designed a background good for online meetings.

The Kitchen is very small that’s why we applied strategic casework design to maximize the space and make sure that all corners are useable.

The Bar Area is very functional on everyday use and strategic in terms of entertaining guests and working at home. The use of the countertop is almost limitless. It offers a lot of storage, it has a dedicated space for serving coffee or wine, It has a generous area for food preparation and take outs whenever there are gatherings, and comfortable space when working at home.

Originally, this is a 2 bedroom unit. Although at first we wanted to maintain the turned-over layout, to save cost and time, this does not match with our client’s goals and lifestyle. Upon having a series of discussion and presentation of different options, we have come up with the best design solution that conforms to our client’s personality and requirements.
This project was posted last January, but this 360-degree Photography makes you appreciate every detail of the project more 😍😍😍

The Toilet and Bath can also be accessed thru the mirror that conceals the sliding door. We visually made the space look bigger by using two contrasting materials. The concrete textured tiles which were used on the shower area and lavatory, and the white textured tiles which were used in the rest of the space. The mirror also played a big part on visually extending the space.

The hidden door leads you to the Master’s Bedroom. We chose a darker shade to create contrast and to achieve a more relaxing vibes. By adjusting the layout based on the relocated door, we maximized the space and were able to fit a larger closet, and a workstation. The usage of the same color palette of concrete texture finish, white, matte black, and wood finish was very consistent even in this area. This promotes a cozier space that will surely improve the quality of rest that our client needs.

The major space that has been improved in this project is the Living Area. The goal is to design a grand and spacious area while still being minimal and functional. We accentuated the living area by using a fluted bamboo panels on the walls and doors. By using the same material, we managed to conceal the doors on each side of the sofa and maintain the grandeur and fluidity of the accent wall. We achieved to create functional and cozy space, and also a space with strong character while still in harmony with the overall aesthetic and style of the project.

The dining area is highlighted by a customized casework and a nice lighting fixture. We designed the custom casework to be multi-functional. It serves as a wine shelf, a small appliances shelf, a display shelf, and as a buffet cabinet. It is also makes a good background for videocalls and online meetings.
