Just found out I’m allowed to share some news that I was a wildcard at Dunottar Castle two weeks ago as part of television series! I was there with my great friend and had the best day painting the iconic castle and soaking up the creative atmosphere. I had so many lovely comments from the public and I was so thrilled to be one of the 50 wildcards that sunny day ☀️

Hello everyone! This is me, and Peregrine aka Miss Pezzi Pants. Thought I’d say hi as I’ve had a flurry of new followers! Welcome along on my little creative and well-being train in instagramland. I hope everyone is able to enjoy a wee bit of sunshine and you’re not getting too many flies coming in - that’s the worst! ☀️

Todays session was clay and I made these we guys! It’s amazing the imagination of people and the different things they create using the same material.

This is my take on an embroidery ‘sampler’ - instead of sewing its a chance for using a wide range of art materials. Starting by taking the pencil for a walk we are given our shapes for filling in with different media. Beginning with dry then moving to wet, it works so well for getting a feel for things and understanding how they layer. The bonus is that you have an extremely quirky piece at the end!

Delighted to have been accepted as a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists for Art Tuition, Creative Arts Therapy and Holistic Counselling.

Apparently it’s national colouring day…who’d have thought it! Munro has been busy colouring in his Porg settlement picture, this chap is the chief Porg in his battle armour!

My student who tried gelli printing for the first time two weeks ago then started working into the prints, picking out details and creating focal points. They decided to cut them out and display the rounds in a grid format. I can’t wait to see them all done and collaged together!

Todays student was experimenting with gouache, colour mixing and layering 🎨

These have to be one of my favourite tools when doing tuition, multi lead colour pencils! A bit of a blast from the past. Very fun to use as the unexpected order of colours keeps things interesting.

Exploring mark making with one of my young private tuition clients. This was their first abstract piece and had a lot of fun using different tools to move paint about. Sometimes having no idea of what a final outcome will be can give freedom to play, discover and try new things

Eeep so excited! Just made up some fresh flower tins with crochet covers for the pop up shop opening on Tuesday! These are tins with a bit of oasis in the bottom so once these flowers are past it can be reused for fresh ones! Each one has a hand crocheted tin cozy too for added . £10 each this week! 🌺 🌸🌱

It was an evening of sewing on stag buttons and pom poms onto hats. I’m going to be taking these to the pop up shop from 18th April along with lots of other goodies!
