Tonight's the night!

Come see the OHS Brahman Band performing arts groups as they celebrate the season with their annual Winter Concert. The show begins at 7:00 p.m. at the OHS Auditorium (Lecture Hall). There is no admission fee and donations are gratefully accepted.

🎼 The parade route starts just south of Aldi on Highway 441 and goes north until turns west (left) at highway 70 (main light) and is finished at the end of the parks. The parade starts at 6:00.

Did you know the OHS Brahman Band fielded over 120 performers during marching season? Did you know the guard performs year-round, including winterguard in the spring? Did you know concert season supports FOUR different musical ensembles: Jazz Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble?

We are thankful for every person who makes this program possible and wish each one and their family a happy Thanksgiving!

The Brahman Band appreciates the dedication of those who work so hard behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Cesar Garduño makes sure the equipment makes it to all of our off-site events. He drives the rig that hauls our front ensemble, props, and instruments and makes sure it all arrives on time and perfectly safely. We can't thank him enough for all he does for the Brahman Band.

Denise Whitehead is the band's prop master and all-around maker of the things. From the creation of equipment, to ensuring the trailer is loaded safely and efficiently, Denise works hard to make sure show concepts come to life each season. She is a big part of this program and we are all grateful for her!

CHeryl Worlow is our Band Booster president and organizer of all the Band Boosters things. From facilitating fundraisers, to ordering for and working the concession stand, to making sure there are enough parents to chaperone and wash uniforms (and washing them herself), to working hard to make sure there are drinks and snacks for trips. She is a blessing to us all and we appreciate everything she does for us!

We are thankful for the way these hard-working individuals support this program and each student in it.

Congratulations on a fantastic FMBC finals performance! This was a great way to end the 2023 marching band season. The OHS Brahman Band finished 5th in the state for class 4A.

The final pep talk

We will be performing our FINAL run of “The Night Guardian” this afternoon at 3:46pm. 💜

Tomorrow will be our first after school rehearsal (2:30-5:30...students report to the band room right after school). Remember to bring practice clothes, tennis shoes, water coolers, hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Also don't forget how important it is to eat breakfast and lunch!

On Thursday after rehearsal we will have our first band parents meeting in the band room. (6pm)
