One year ago this week we were shooting at beautiful home days before LA & the rest of the country completely shut down. Not a bad way to go out with shooting & for What a year it’s been!! 🖤

This is my favorite shot from our shoot featuring and .closet insane house for . Funnily enough, this was also the room I was the most stumped on. I pulled the vintage kimono pillows & this .world blanket from Yoram & Elenore’s living room. I love the intensity and simplicity of this space.❤️💛❤️ 📸 story by .rus designs 🤗 🥰

I love a breakfast nook- this one is particularly perfect. The folding windows, glossy green tile, and cork floors are beyond good. I knew I wanted to put pinks & plums in here for our shoot for featuring designs for .closet INCREDIBLE home. And that it would be the perfect spot for a little buddy to sit by his gorgeous bowls. 🖤 Photography by story and support ❤️ .rus thank you 🥰

We shot this for in a tropical rainstorm outside the Fleming Villa this past November. Just when we thought the day was over because of the light & the rain had me standing in the mud underneath these huge beautiful leaves in the rain. 💚

This was absolutely one of my favorite homes to style- the colors! The shapes! The textures! 🤯 Not to mention I got to hang with the cutest chihuahua ever. This magical home’s interior designed by the architecture by and featured in 📸 ✍️ .rus 💋 ❤️

My favorite shots almost always end up being these details. This is from the shoot featuring amazing home & insanely genius designs. 📸 by the best in the west 🥰 I love being able to pull my favorite elements from a home to feature more prominently in a smaller vignette. Oooooo this was a fun shoot for !! I was so so excited when I got the scouting photos of incredible home. I am obsessed with the colors and genius mix of shape and material in this house. It was the very first job I did after lockdown, 4 months of no work & with no assistant!! Thankfully 📸 and are the dreamiest and we had a great time. Thank you for the loans- they complimented this home so perfectly. Also biggest hugs to .rus ❤️

New work for my incredible friend ❤️ we shot this at the very beginning of the lockdown here in LA. Nothing was open so we really utilized what I have at my studio and I may have “borrowed” some branches from my neighbors 🤫 Photo by the amazing 💛

Is it just me or are you all eating tomatoes for every meal too? 🍅❤️This was from a shoot I worked on about a million years ago for that is finally in print! We traveled from NYC up to beautiful home upstate to do a tomato story featuring her recipes & garden. It was a dreamy day- we ate a gorgeous tomato filled lunch surrounded by a tomato garden in Sarah’s back yard. Tomato tomato tomato 🍅 🍅🍅 📸 AD food styling

This is one of my favorite shots from our shoot for featuring 💛 shot by This room was very inspiring for me to do the florals. I knew I wanted to use this antique Chinese vessel from to accent the darker woods. I also wanted play off the gold pillows and the green leaves of the tree. I added some blush pink poppies & ranunculus to bring out the warm white textures.

I’ve been thinking about this lunch we shot and then happily devoured at Pantrepant Farm in Jamaica, a while back. I’ve been traveling to Jamaica a few times a year with photographer for the past 6 years- with the exception of this year 🙃 Its so fun to style these food shots- especially when I’m in a place like that is so steeped in history. I love to embrace the materials that are available to me when I’m there. The beauty is in their history & authenticity which to me- is the most important.

Here’s the full story from our incredible shoot for aboard the Sutherland yacht. Styling on a moving yacht was a new & literally dizzying experience for me 🙃 The movement from the water & the wind created a whole new level of complication to styling. But who doesn’t love a challenge?! Especially when you’re in a gorgeous place like St Lucia. I’d take the stumbling and the sea sickness any day to be back there with this amazing group of people ❤️

This was definitely my favorite room to style for the latest shoot I worked on featuring & for 💕. It’s not often I get to style a space as gorgeous as this that is dedicated to making art. The most inspiring thing to me is the custom canvas floor painted to replicate the floor Cy Twombly’s studio. I love how functional, thoughtful and playful that is! 📸 🤗

It’s funny that this tiny bathroom is one of my favorite shots from our shoot featuring & for . This is her powder room. I love the mix of emerald green & brass. When I saw the bathroom - I knew I wanted to use a strong sculptural floral like these allium aka snake balls. 🐍💚 📸 THANK YOU to .rus
