β‘οΈ The reason your surgery or medical treatment "failed" is mostly likely because the rehab was not taken seriously enough. Soft tissue injuries have to be rehabbed by strengthening the connected muscles and creating balance so there's no longer strain on the injured area. You can't just go back to competition as soon as the swelling is gone. You have to strengthen the weak areas that caused the injury in the first place.
β‘οΈ Most "failed" knee and back surgeries happen to people that are not active enough to strengthen the weak muscles that allowed for arthritis to destroy the joints. 2 months of physical therapy is to teach you how to strengthen your body on your own. It's not supposed to be the end of exercise.
β‘οΈ PEMF, Cold Laser, Red Light, Salt Spa, ECT. are all great tools for healing things quickly and effectively... But it's the FITNESS part of rehab that brings back your athlete. Once there's been an injury, you have to correct the weak areas in your fitness program. If you go back to the same program that led to injury in the first place, you'll end up with another injury.
β‘οΈ There are NO magical cures out there. Stop looking for one and get dedicated to the hard work that comes with being an athlete or owning an athlete. 15 years ago people didn't have so much free access to tips for rehabilitation, exercises, books on biomechanics, and DIY hacks.
