The Princess and the Bead

I am constantly surprised when people in Madison say that they remember my shop, next to Crawdaddy Music, on Main St.
Thank you. It's heartwarming.

I suppose it is time to mention that as a result of an unrelated job injury, last year, I have not been able to bead anything since.
I had to have surgery in January to repair 2 tears in my rotator cuff and bicep in my right shoulder. They are still working on the bulging disks in C5-6 & C6-7, of my neck, that limit the movement of my head right/left or up/down, cause horrible headaches and my fingers to be numb and tingly. I see a neurologist next week for another evaluation and approach. It has been a long rough road but I have high hopes and Faith that I will be beading again soon.
Unfortunately, I missed an opportunity to share what I still have on hand at a craft show this last weekend, with other artists.

There is LIFE in The Princess and the Bead. I am looking forward to getting back to jewelry design and beading, as my shoulder and neck recover from a work related injury last year that has been holding me back. With the help of my beading friends I was able to share my work at the Old Court Craft Fair this Memorial weekend in Historic Downtown Madison. THANKS - to those of you who stopped to take a look and also made a purchase!! It was a GREAT weekend! Stay tuned............. more to come ;)

It was a wonderful, festive 2 days! Loved having the Madison Community band playing all of our favorite Christmas tunes right next to me on Saturday!!!

This one was my favorite. It sold this last weekend.

I embellished this copper wire tree with crystal and it sold this last weekend! She said she will use it for her necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
