📌Kindergarten: Mga batang limang (5) taong gulang sa o bago mag Oktubre 31, 2022 (DepEd Order No. 47, s. 2016/DepEd Order No. 20, s. 2018)
📌Grade 1: Mga batang nakapagtapos ng Kindergarten sa S.Y. 2021-2022 (Mga Batang Kindergarten ngayon).
📌Transferees: Mga batang mula Grade 2-Grade 6 na nagnanais lumipat.
📌Balik-Aral: Mga batang nagnanais bumalik sa pag-aaral.

Ang tema ng Brigada Eskwela 2021 ay kumikilala sa ating mga adhikain at pagbabayanihan upang matugunan ang pangangailangan ng mga komunidad upang maabot ng bawat mag-aaral ang kanilang mga pangarap.
DepEd-DavOcc’s journey to digital transformation
The unprecedented challenges gushed forth in the Department of Education during the upsurge of the COVID-19 pandemic – this birthed the revolutionary empowerment of the labor force in the department.
True enough, the spell of the pandemic calls for the upskilling of the workforce, upgrading of machinery, and transforming the systems and processes in line with the standards of a quality management system to beef up the positive impact to basic education.
Now, DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION takes its prominence in the Division of Davao Occidental.
The 10-point agenda of the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Lorenzo E. Mendoza, CESO VI, lays down this transformation through the creation of innovations to better enhance the curriculum delivery and improve school governance at all levels, and intensify the DepEd’s flagship project: Sulong EduKalidad. This serves as a workable public service scheme for the DepEd Division of Davao Occidental, Region XI.
As learning and development has been viewed as one of the essential avenues in shaping the potential and creativity of employees working in a diverse work environment, upskilling of the workforce took place to uphold digital literacy.
As the technical know-how of the people whose services play vital roles in the attainment of organizational objectives is hoped to advance, the SDO organized a computer literacy enhancement program, which mostly focused on the application of Microsoft Office 365 in the workplace, basic computer troubleshooting, and some areas in the field of video editing and photo enhancement to cope with the new concepts and techniques in the use of computer and software applications.
With the current health crisis that challenged the educational system, the SDO has seen the need to widen the technical and technological know-how of the teachers as they embrace the new normal of the teaching-learning process through TV Broadcast, Radio Broadcast, and Online teaching in line with the Division Learning Continuity Plan.
The drive on technological advancement has been immensely necessary for the overall office’s operations and employees’ functions. This has been the challenge conquered through the internet connectivity project of the SDO provided by the DCTech Micro Services Inc. This endeavor is instrumental, and the avenue to meeting the SDO’s ideals through the various digital platforms.
Foremost to attaining this goal, the preparation of DepEd Computerization Program was ensured through the conduct of the Orientation and Seminar-Workshop of all District, Secondary Schools, Integrated Schools, and selected Elementary ICT Coordinators. This looked forward to providing public schools with appropriate technologies that would enhance the teaching-learning process and meet the challenges of the 21st century.
At present, the schools in the SDO have immersed into their respective digital journey to better the quality of work and learning modalities: 60% of the Elementary School, 65% of the Junior High School, and 30% of the Senior High School have become recipients of the DepEd Computerization Package. Along with this development, snags on internet connectivity have been addressed through free internet access through PIPOL KONEK, a national program under Department of Information and Communication Technology that has been afforded to some selected schools. With these, digitalization which is the transformation of processes to digital operation; and digitization, the conversion of data to digital format to eliminate inefficiencies in the operations shall emanate to increase performance.
Recently, with the access to the internet installed in each functional office, key officials in the SDO were afforded tablets and laptops for easy and fast communication in this time where video conferencing, webinars, and other sort are prevalent. More projects like upgrading laptops and desktops to cope with the needed specs for different digital platforms are proposed and soon to transpire in the SDO.
At present, the SDO is equipping its newly installed studio. This has already been functional for recording and airing programs on Facebook and StreamYard. This venture finally ends up as the SDO’s TV Station with its regular program, the Virtual Friday Yehey!
It is perceived that the situation in the department is currently a mess. The prospect for development seems not promising and this requires documentation in its pursuit for transformation. This dreamt modification involves changes in the pursued objectives which requires a conversion in the way employees think to solve problems they formed with the existing patterns of thought.
The SDO then is learning a great deal about learning as a matter of how much it can do with whatever it has. It is trying to do the right thing which is said to increase competence, the capacity to mollify one’s needs, and those of others -- a way of outlining the positive and negative features of life as an index of development.
With this, the Division of Davao Occidental advances its enterprise -- Edukasyon POSIBLE initiative which acronym spells out Provincewide Opportunities for Success Intensified to Boost Learners' Education to sustain education in the new normal. Coupled with the tagline, “Turning Your Visions into Realities!”, all systems and processes are, by and by, aligned to the pursued goal of transformation.
With the call for one direction of the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Lorenzo E. Mendoza, CESO VI, the SDO is evolving through a digital transformation which is now on its journey to prominence in the Division of Davao Occidental.
