We are incredibly thankful for the friends and family that have been supporting us over the years. Always showing up to races to help wherever they can. Feed zone, helping with team meals, and just cheering us on, we wouldn’t be here without their support. There are lots of people who aren’t pictured here, so just know that if you’ve ever helped us out or even just cheered for us from the sidelines, we are grateful for your support!

Last but not least- Isabella Robles. Isabella is always making sure the rest of the team keeps their head up, and is staying positive. Last year, Isabella CRUSHED the nationals championship and came away with a top 10 result, and then raced her first ever World Cup at the end of the year in Snowshoe, WV. This year, Isabella is continuing to push herself to a whole new level, taking on races like PanAmerican Championships and more World Cups at the end of the season. We can’t wait to see what she does at Nationals this year!

Photos from HART Cycling's post 10/07/2024

Next up on the rider intros for nationals- the man himself, Chuck Norris. Little known fact, his name is actually Jeremy. Jeremy lives in Fort Collins, Colorado, and works as a cycling coach. We can’t keep up with his hobbies. Sometimes it’s writing poetry, other times it’s brewing his own beer in his basement. Who knows 🤷🏼‍♂️. Jeremy just got back from a Euro trip where he raced in the UCI World Cups in Italy and Switzerland. He got some good practice in the mud, so he’ll be prepared for anything at nationals!

Photos from HART Cycling's post 07/07/2024

As we get closer to nationals, we want to reintroduce our riders, so that you can come say hi at the big race!

First up, Samuel Elson, AKA “Sambot.” Sam currently lives in Southern Utah working as a part time medical assistant and cycling coach. When he’s not riding his bike, he’s eating obscene amounts of food or riding his motorcycle. Always on two wheels! Say hello if you see him at nationals 🤘🏻

The weekend is flying by! 🚵‍♂️💨
Where are you riding?!

10/06/2024

A late update 👀🔥

A couple weeks ago Isabella CRUSHED the Old Post Challenge out in Russellville, Arkansas winning the women’s race and finishing 10th overall including the men’s fields 🏆🎉🥇

She’s on fire again this season and we’re STOKED to see how preparations go for a couple more big goals this year 🔥🔥

10/06/2024

This weekend was full gas with Samuel at and Jeremy at 🤘🔥

Excuse us while we find photos from either event, for now, enjoy incredible work for the newsflash 🤌

Coming back from a rough start, Samuel put together an awesome ride to finish 11th in the Missoula XC UCI C1, boosting his international ranking and getting back to that winning we all know and love 😍💪🔥

Sticking closer to home, Jeremy was able to check out the Vail Mountain Games for the first time and battle it out with some of the nation’s best climbers on a climber’s course 🥵 he held on for 10th and had a great time at the festival!
Jeremy also got to cheer several of his junior riders on to wins and podiums! 💪🔥 Strong work from the Fort Collins kids! 🏆🎉

Keep an eye on the socials from and as Samuel heads north for a Canada Cup 🇨🇦 and Jeremy heads to Europe for some World Cup action 🚲🎉🚲

We hope you got out for a great ride and have some awesome adventures slated for this week!

HART Cycling has some GOOD adventures lined up for this week 👀🚲🏁

The second week of the American Pro Tour was three BRUTAL days of racing in Fayetteville AR! Each race was stacked enough to feel more like a miniature World Cup than what I'm used to competing in in the US 🥵

It was an awesome opportunity to sharpen up and learn to push limits but, in races with absolutely no room for weakness, my fitness felt pretty dull. Breaking a wheel in Wednesday's XCO didn't help my cause too much either...
I'm pretty disappointed with the results but reminding myself that the goals this year are later in the season.
Getting pointier by the day!

I had a couple opportunities to check out my colorful Industry Nine wheels during the race as CXHairs caught here!

First race weekend of the season! Race report from Jeremy.
The 2024 season is underway with lots of excitement coming! 👀👀

Cactus Cup is always a good time! One of the remaining classics of American mountain bike racing including 3 days camping in a desert parking lot, bunny hop competitions, and some really cool race stages. Always a good weekend to kick off mountain bike racing in the US for 2024.

I got to try out new jerseys from PEARL iZUMi and fresh shoes from Lake Cycling this weekend! The Pearl kits were sweet! well ventilated, more fashionable than this mountain main knows what to do with, and felt FAST!
The new Lake shoes were absolutely incredible. Lake specializes in shoes built for feet. Foot health, weird shaped feet, foot comfort without compromising the high standard of light, stiff, and efficient racing shoes. These bad boys were a huge improvement on the already incredible MX332 the team was on last year, definitely the most comfortable race shoe I've had the pleasure of suffering in.

The first day of Cactus Cup was my first short track effort of the year! Always an eye opener going full gas with the fastest boys in the country. Suffered my way to 9th, losing a sprint to Brian Matter at the end... I'm coming for you Brian... when I have a chain on my bike maybe.

The second day was the 40 mile cross country race, a legendary, unforgiving old-style course. I snapped my chain right off the start and had to chuck my bike in a bush to repair the chain while the pro women started their race. I chased back through the pro women's field before snapping my chain a second time. I repaired it again and set off to chase through the women's field again now 12 minutes behind my race.
I was able to find some power in the legs and chase down the men's race solo to finish 18th. Not at all the result I was hoping for but I'm proud of the effort.
HART Cycling teammate Sam was able to finish 10th on the day, a great ride for his first race weekend of the year!

The last stage was a three stage enduro, three timed downhill(ish) segments to be completed at the riders leisure. It always feels more like a bike party day with maybe a minute or two on the tabe(more likely a few seconds) for the overall after bleeding 10+ minutes the day before. But a bike party isn't a bad way to end the weekend!
I ended up 15th in the overall, a tad frustrated, planning some bike maintenance, but encouraged at where the legs are at for early March.

Next up is Vail Lake in Temecula, CA for the first UCI race of the season! Ready to throw down for those international points yet again!

Huge thanks to Blane and Kaitlyn Maddox for babysitting me all weekend and transporting me to and from the airport!

Last but not least in our team introductions, Samuel Elson!
Samuel is back for his 8th year in the pro ranks and 3rd year with HART Cycling 🤟
In 2023, Samuel finished 8th at Missoula XC(day 1), 7th at Canmore Canada Cup, and was the 7th American man at the Snowshoe World Cup.

Samuel is passionate about

Stoked to have Samuel ripping faster than ever in 2024!

Next in the rider introductions,
Jeremy Norris is back for his 8th year in the pro ranks and 3rd year with HART Cycling! In 2023, Jeremy earned the title of Colorado Pro State Champion, finished 9th at Missoula XC(day 1), 18th at Elite National Championships, and was the 3rd American man at both the Snowshoe and Mont Sainte Anne World Cups.

Jeremy is passionate about getting people moving outside for their health and mental health and chasing their dreams.

Off the bike, Jeremy coaches for Ignition Coach Co., Ciclismo Racing, is a sports nutritionist, and a published poet.
📖

Onward and upward for 2024!

18/12/2023

The end of the year is coming in HOT 🔥😵‍💫

With that, it’s about time to introduce our riders for 2024! We’re coming into the new season with the same squad so these riders should look familiar 😉

First up is Isabella Robles!
This will be Isabella’s third year racing in the pro ranks, second year with HART Cycling! In the 2023 season Isabella landed on a UCI podium at the Piney Hills Classic, finished 7th at GoPro Games, 10th at Elite National Championships, and was the 6th American woman at the Snowshoe UCI World Cup! 🤘🇺🇸

Isabella is an incredible ambassador of healthy living with her passion for a balanced, active life!
Off the bike, Isabella is a coach for Ignition Coach Co., a medical scribe, and a strength and conditioning coach! 💪

Stoked for your 2024 season, Isabella!

Which one is the healthy Jeremy? Off season training Jeremy or Fayetteville US Cup Jeremy? 🤔

For let’s talk about rest… again... Within the world of sport, getting enough activity in general isn’t the problem, it’s getting too much. We need to slow down to go faster. And take a nap. 😴

I (off season Jeremy) tried to take on way too much this spring. Too many races, too much travel, too many “what ifs,” at a time that was already very difficult to balance. It seemed like the way to go at the time but in hindsight, it was really dumb. Hindsight is 2023. 🤷‍♂️

My stress and busyness was encroaching on my sleep. I didn’t have good naps very often and was just full gas for a good few months. ✊🏎️💨

I did enough things right that I survived and was pretty strong on the bike but I was delicate, not performing to my potential, and was maintaining fitness rather than building anything. I injured myself just walking with my in-laws and didn’t recover from it until the off season and I missed goals for half the season. ☹️

Fast forward to off season where I plan out extras, training, and work so I’m (usually) not double booked, can be more present, and less stressed.
I have a routine to slow down and get quality, deep sleep. I have my day set up so I generally have some restful, restorative time after workouts.
I spend more time in prayer and with my church people which helps me keep a larger perspective, be less frantic when I’m busy, and helps keep my head out of my ass.
I spend time making or enjoying art which helps me be calm and keeps my mind more flexible. 🎻📝

Most of all, I’ve slowed down. Quality of rest and sleep take priority over squeezing in another thing I feel like I need to do, and I’m able to train better, recover more thoroughly, and build toward my dreams. 🤘🤟

Find some time to take some deep breaths(or a nap?!) in the middle of your day and think of how you can slow down your mind and body before you go to sleep tonight!

Thanks for reading! What’s your favorite resting tip/trick?

Mont-Sainte-Anne was a race to remember! HART Cycling's Jeremy and Samuel lined up in a slick, muddy Elite Men's race featuring running both up and down some features and just hoping icy roots would be kind. An already incredibly challenging course became a survival challenge for both riders and bikes.

Jeremy held on to finish 75th(video here when there was too much mud on his bike for the chain to stay on).
Samuel unfortunately crashed out on a gnarly rock feature. We are happy he escaped without serious injury.

The team is motivated and excited to continue pursuing results at the top level of this incredible sport!
Keep an eye out for Isabella at Little Sugar before we close the curtains on an incredible and wild 2023 season!

02/10/2023

The team rode incredibly at the Snowshoe World Cup! Racing massive fields of all the world’s fastest from the back isn’t easy!

Isabella finished 52nd in Elite Women and Jeremy finished 77th, Samuel in 84th in Elite Men!
Stay tuned as Jeremy and Samuel head to the final round of the UCI World Series in Canada while Isabella takes on the gnarly 60 miles of Little Sugar!

Another Friday, another health tidbit, and another bowl of rice and beans! 😋
Rice, black beans, roasted onions and peppers, and tostones 🇵🇷 topped off with guac, cilantro, and lime 🤤

Rice and beans is a meal base we always love to go back to. Not only is it delicious, but the combination provides a vegetarian complete protein(all the essential amino acids), a great balance of dietary fiber and shorter chain carbohydrates.

Combine that with the vitamins you get from some good roasted veggies and you have yourself a good, healthy dinner! 🏆

And while our athletes ramp up the rice to top off the legs ⛽️
Someone who isn’t burning like a nuclear power plant can pile on the roasted veggies and stay feeling full for longer while keeping their fueling in the right range.

“There is a pretty common misconception about being comfortable on the bike.
Many riders think you must sacrifice comfort in order to be fast, but it simply isn’t the case. You can’t push yourself to the limit if your back, feet, or hands are in pain.
Choose gear that allows you to focus 100% on the trail ahead and putting in your entire effort.
That’s why we ride , because they have no compromises when it comes to both performance and comfort. Foot pain used to be a constant battle for me and I would even have to end rides short because I couldn’t pedal anymore. That hasn’t happened once since I found shoes that fit properly.”

Let’s talk grains 🌾🎉

Our food options today are overwhelming. You’ve got more milks available than days in the year and the entire spectrum of grain processing from live plants to vegan shoe leather.

When it comes to what you put on your plate, what do you do? In general, it’s good to lean toward less processed or whole grain options like the ones pictured. Making a rice bowl? 🍚 Use brown rice! Making a quick toast? 🍞Use whole grain bread!

Whole grains(among other things) are higher in dietary fiber which is important for a healthy gut biome, improved overall digestion, and blunts insulin spikes which aids in heart health, diabetes prevention, and maintaining a healthy weight! ❤️🤘

Whole grains also make you feel full for longer which can help prevent overeating!

Let us know your favorite meals and snacks that incorporate good whole grains! 🥙🌯😋
