25s are feeling pretty comfortable, 30s I’m on my way 🤞🏻

Not having to struggle them up made such a huge difference, praise be having to push them up.
I’m not a big fan of asking people I don't know for a spot in the gym, too often they help a little too much. Having a good training partner is definitely key to the strength gains 💯

Change of pace with my training currently. Working on some new goals means a lot more fitness and embracing the suck.

Sometimes it’s just a case of learning to switch your brain off when it starts to burn. Lunges is great practice for that especially when you do a few varieties in one.

Promise no more lunge posts for at least a week 🤣👀

Teaming up with SC F**T to break down some pull-up variations.

1. Scap pulls/Dead hangs.
This is just a small movement. Shrugging into the bar and building that strength for the initial pull.

2. Bar pull-ups.
Start with your feet on the floor then as you get stronger add the raise.
Once you get stronger again slow the lowering phase (negative) down.

3. Jumping pull-ups
Use a box or plates and jump up above the bar. The higher the starting point the easier it is.

4. Negatives.
You can jump into these or start from a box. Really slow and controlled all the way down. Try and make it last 10 seconds!

5. Finally practice! Trying and get them into your training a few times a week.

2021 working on those weaknesses.

Split jerks are probably my least practiced lift. Never really felt that comfortable doing them and I could always get away with a push jerk instead. Today I feel like I made up for lost time 😂 but walking away from a session feeling much stronger at something is always a good thing.
