Economically the world is made up of markets. The food market, clothing market, entertainment market, health market, housing market. These are some of the markets people are familiar with consciously.
There is also such a thing as the job market (most people are here consciously... they were educated/oriented at least 12 years for it). Then there is the money market (ALL PEOPLE are here, only thing is some don't know they are... until you come to the point where you realise there's always some bill to pay for. Even to be able to sleep, you got to pay to remain alive to be able to sleep).
The reason most never learnt about stocks and currency trading is because they didn't realise they're in the market by default.
In every market we effect an exchange to get the value/income we want. In the Forex trading we exchange currency on the money market to get the income we want. Just like everywhere we exchange by buying or selling.
