🌞 In this hot summer weather, it's hard enough for adults to get to sleep, let alone babies who go to bed earlier than us, when the temperatures are still high.

😍 How do you cool your little one down so they settle for a sleep? Here are our favourite ways to keep babies cool for naps:

⭐️ Water play in pools, outside tubs and the ocean, with a supervising adult, of course!
⭐️ A lukewarm bath or shower is great for an instant cool-me-down moment, and works better than cold water!

🐝Try and keep fresh air flow coming through the room.

🐝Use a gentle fan near your baby's cot. This works double duty by providing a breeze and creating white noise, which is helpful for settling cranky babies. If the room is still hot, try the old-school air-con method of placing a bowl of iced water directly in front of the fan to make the air it blows cooler.

🐝Keep the room and nearby areas as quiet as possible.

🐝 Routine is what babies need, so even though it may be hot and you might be in a different location while you're holidaying, stick to bubba's usual bedtime routine as much as possible.
