When I began working with women on beauty over 20 years (yikes) ago, my favorite part quickly became the connection. I LOVE meeting new people. This week has been one of reconnection. I think we all have lost track of people over the years and the pandemic. This week I got to reconnect with a college roommate and friend. Her color robing was fabulous, but the tea and long chat to catch up was a million times better. 💓

If you said c, you are right! Sara's beautiful hair puts her right into the warm category. We found her code, and she added a cheek and lip color in her complimentary shades. Bam! She's a knock out.

Happy weekend! Anne's beautiful skin tone and blue eyes look great in a clear color code. She was so happy that black is one of her neutrals. She can make it pop with a bright accent or some bold lips.

Fashion tip Tuesday! Need a trick to look slimmer and taller? Here it is! Column dressing. It means wearing the same color on top and bottom to create a single line look, then adding a pop in an accent shade. If you know your code, use your neutrals as the column and top with a fun pop! Look good, feel good is a thing, right? This summer I took a class about colors in fashion and was fascinated by how the simple choice of wearing a shirt in a specific color can make you feel and look great. Following my training I became certified in the color code system.
I had a closet full of clothes I liked on the rack, but didn't love on me. I hope that I can equip you with some information on what colors look best on you to help you simplify your closet and your purchasing decisions. I think every woman deserves to look and feel her best in her clothes whether she gets them at a discount store (I am a sucker for Costco clothes on a grocery run) or from the racks at a high end department store. With the knowledge you gain from your color draping, you will be able to do just that!
